FRIDLEY, Minn. -- Police have arrested three teenagers suspected of torching a school bus in Fridley.
The fire happened in the early morning hours Wednesday at Totino Grace High School.
On Friday, Fridley Police announced three male teenagers were arrested.
A 13-year-old, 17-year-old and 18-year-old males were arrested on charges of 2nd degree arson and 1st degree criminal damage to property.
All three admitted their involvement in the fire but none of them are former students at Totino Grace.
The 13-year-old from Fridley has been left in the custody of his father.
The 17-year-old from Brooklyn Park was taken to the Lino Lakes Juvenile Detention Facility.
The 18-year-old from Champin is currently being held at the Anoka County Jail.
One bus was a complete loss and a second was heavily damaged. Authorities estimated damages at $100,000.
Totino Grace raised money to purchase their busses two years ago.
