CLEVELAND (AP) - A man accused of chasing down his ex-girlfriend on an interstate and causing a crash last month was indicted on a murder charge Monday in what prosecutors say is a deadly road rage case.

Sean Kay, 19, of Brecksville, faces a maximum sentence of 15 years to life if convicted.

Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason said Kay followed his former girlfriend on Interstate 77 on Dec. 28 after calling her 18 times that morning. He pulled alongside her, made an obscene gesture, then swerved into her, and both cars lost control, Mason said.

Kay's sport utility vehicle crossed the median, went airborne and landed on a vehicle in the oncoming lanes, killing driver Gerald Durzcak, 58, of Garfield Heights. His former girlfriend's van was forced off the road with a blown tire.

Kay also faces five counts of felonious assault, one count of aggravated vehicular homicide and five counts of aggravated vehicular assault. He will be arraigned Feb. 2.

Kay does not have an attorney listed in Common Pleas Court records. A call to Kay's home seeking comment was not immediately returned.

USA have 50 states compare to Canada, Canada only has one.

Anyway, I feel so bad for the guy who died in the result of the horrible road rage all because of this stalking ex boyfriend of hers being a psychopath freak. :ugh:

It's a shame what crazy people do these days & innocent people end up dying for nothing. I feel bad for that guy who died, just because he just so happened to have been there driving to whereever he was going to.

It's a tragedy that didn't have to happen. That man just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

o.o if this guy's in 15 years, he'll get out when he's roughly 45 with no outside of jail life experience... 19 yr old... i mean, he's a man at this point, but if possible give him some damn help... we don't need 45yr old idiots who been in jail half life on the streets..
