THRILLED Joe Ball holds the gigantic 14 stone fish that landed him a world record.

It is nearly two stone heavier than the biggest Mekong catfish ever previously caught with a rod.

Joe, 21, of Mitcham, Surrey, was on holiday in Thailand when he caught the monster. He said: "It nearly pulled my arms from their sockets!"

He later released it back into the water.
