I would suggest Gallaudet or RIT. I never looked into RIT, but I was accepted and enrolled at Gallaudet. Once I spent some time there, I realized that it wasn't for me right now... But I had a few friends with CIs. I don't think that they felt people hate against them. Also, it is a Deaf campus...

They are great! My school hired a full time interpreter in December for me... The first week or two, it was a little harder to understand and her signs were different from previous interpreters I used... Now, it's painless. I struggle without her because I rely so much on her now... Good luck!

I have never slept with my hearing aids in. I fall asleep every once in a while or lay down with them in, and it is very uncomfortable because I sleep on my side...

I don't know. I think that she is uneducated. She mentioned that she worked with deaf kids like 20 years ago, and none of them used sign language. I live in Michigan, USA. My city isn't terribly big and not a lot of deaf people around that I know.
