Thanks, this is what I started to do and it has helped a lot. As far as the trimming, I had to do that to one of his when he first got them after a few days. I could tell one was bothering him and when I looked at it closely I could see a tiny plastic burr, used a razor blade and took it off.

Here is my soon to be 3yo's audiogram. He gets HA's in 2 weeks, Naida's. I was wondering if someone who has had a toddler get HA's could give some insight on what to expect. He currently has very few intelligible words, even though we often know what he means or is trying to say.

lol, my 1.5yo daughter will go sit with her 3yo brother in time out because she HAS to do everything he does. Sometimes she will just go sit there all on her own or she will act up to get sent there! On a serious note, I am open to any advice on discipline for a deaf 3yo.
