I am very happy to learn sign. I have been learning for 8 months and i plan to learn alot more. I have learned alot because i sign all the time. I am Doing very well alot of deaf people here in washingon say wow you have only been learing for 8 months.

Yea i thought so. I never see hearing and deaf together for a long time.

I just wanted to know because i have heard that deaf and hearing couples are kinda rare. Is that true? My girl and I have been together for 8 months. She is Deaf and I am hearing. Just a question for yall.

You know what my family comes from a little town in KY. Back along time ago you didnt have to walk the streets with a group of friends. You didnt have to be scared of someone taking your kid. People had morals. Alot of places in the "Good old days" Were smaller towns and everyone knew everybody...

I am happy everything turned out ok. It is sad when that happens. Make sure to show your kids that pills are not candy. Talk to them about it. Really the only way to prevent somthing like that or anything with children is to talk to the about things.

I will pray for sure! I know times like this can be very hard. You have to be strong for her. Let her know that you will be there no matter what. If you are strong she will fight harder. But if anything happens just remember she will be in a better place. And you will see her again when you go...

I live in Washinton and i know that is true about here. The say that ASL is a foreign language.

That is good to hear. From what i have seen is many people with deaf children treat them diffenernt and i dont like that.

I think it is awsome that deaf people of this site are into leting hearing people learn and join there culture. I am hearing and very polite and respectful of the culture. I have learned so much about it and plan to learn much more. I have a wonderful teacher who is hard of hearing and trying...

I am hearing and that made me think about things. You know somtimes my girlfriend asks me to sign what did they say and i say dont worry about it. Now I will never do that again. That almost made me cry!
