Windows XP Service Pack 3 is out!

I seriously doubt Windows 7 will be released in 2009 or 2010. How many years did it take for Vista to be released after XP's initial release? It's going to be more bloatedware making it run much slower. Personally, I think Microsoft is better off 'open source' their Windows OS. Open source...

    Tipping System

I don't agree with this method because other staff could be slacking off on the job while the other work their ass off to get good tips. In Russia, there's no different minimum wages for waitresses but they often do share the tips with other workers. Generally, Russians normally don't tip but...

Russian Cops Beat Deaf Guys at Casino [VID]

I can't believe it either. Normally casinos in Russia are generally owned by mafia and some of the corrupted cops are on casino's payroll. If the casino don't like somebody and they get the cop to do the dirty work for them. This doesn't happen very often but... sheesh!

    Interpeters in Moscow Russia

I've seen some restaurants have hole in the floor and some do not have toilet rolls available. That's why I always take my little Kleenex travel pack with me just in case. You know the small pack that fits inside your pocket. It's very useful for situation like this. I also take small hand...

    Interpeters in Moscow Russia

It's not widespread as you think. I've lived in Ukraine and now I'm living in Moscow Russia. Yes, there are crimes but not bad as you think and corruption is rampant. Again like I said in my previous post... tourists should use their commonsense especially in any big cities like New York...

    Interpeters in Moscow Russia

You don't need a bodyguard. It's not dangerous as you think. I can walk around in Moscow alone and no problem. I don't think Kiev will be any dangerous than Moscow. Just keep a low profile and use your commonsense then you'll be fine. You can get electronic translator and it will be good...

    Interpeters in Moscow Russia

I will ask them if they know of an organization or individual who is on contract with US Embassy. The odds of finding one is almost impossible but I'm sure they have one. However, I'm not going to waste a lot of time trying to find one since I'm learning RSL and making contacts with Deaf...

    Who's got VP?

I have vp100 and Ojo but it's in storage in New York. I use built-in webcam in my laptop with Viable software. Works great. I will probably take my vp100 back with me to Moscow on my next visa run to the States.

    International VP Users?

I've used Sorenson, Viable, LifeLinks, SprintVRS and couple other videochat softwares in Moscow and it works well with VRS or VCO with my laptop's internal webcam. I like Viable the best due to better picture quality.

    Interpeters in Moscow Russia

I contacted some terps as well and was told it's very difficult to find an ASL terp here. I guess I'll have to take a crash course in RSL and it's not that difficult to learn quickly. I know Russian language but not fluently but learning RSL is quite easy since I can memorize RSL using English...

    Post your gas prices

UK impose stiff tax on gasoline to pay for roads and government public services. It's pretty common for prices to be $6+ in Europe because of high taxes.

    Post your gas prices

Ha.. you've been watching too many cartoons. :D Low grade gasoline price here in Russia is 19 rubles per liter... that's about $3 per gallon. High grade is 22 rubles which is around $3.50 per gal. The price is high because of weak US dollar. London is much worse where the price can fetch...
