I wonder if deaf people can tell the difference between a hearing person who knows ASL staring at them (and are nosy like I am) and plain old ignorant "omigosh they're talking with their hands, let's :eek3: at them!!" staring. Seriously, if i see deaf people chatting i try my best not to look...

Lol, what a coincidence. it's much easier for me to communicate with deaf when their voices are off. i think you and i would have some very nice conversations. ;)

"Mr. Holland" came out back in 1995 when I was just 18 years old. Let me say that I had a MAJOR crush on teenage Cole. I don't know what happened to the actor that played him (Joseph Anderson i think it was, or something like that). He seemed to drop out of existance cuz I haven't seen or heard...

I saw it on Hulu. Not the epoch of film making but overall, it's a pretty good film. Bernard Bragg makes a cameo appearance too, so that's a plus.
