I got the transparent purple, but I'm pretty much OBSESSED with purple!!!

I am profound in my left, severe in my right. I can hear sounds without my aid, but can't understand or distinguish. I lip read, use cues, etc. I wear an aid in my severe ear and can then understand a lot of environmental sounds, as well as a lot of words. But everything is very quiet and muffled.

So excited! I go to LA on July 11 for my evaluation! I'm so nervous already! Can anyone tell me what to expect?

I just don't know if I qualify for a CI since a hearing aid helps my right ear. Does the "hearing aid provides minimal benefit" apply to the ear getting the CI, or both?

My Audi and I chose a Naida for me. My numbers aren't quite as high as yours. My Audi wanted me to get a Super Power aid, which is what Naida is. I'm getting the V. I'm profound to no response in my left ear, severe in my right. My left ear should be getting a cochlear or baha in the near future.

Anyone have experience or knowledge of this system? This looks to be my best option right now :)

Thank-you, I figured out I was mis-interpretting the website and information. I have it figured out now, the Naida doesn't even work as part of the Phonak CROS system :)

Anyone used Phonak Naida S V H2O? I will be using it with Phonak's CROS H2O. My hearing aids died suddenly and I'm looking at new ones. What is your experience with Phonak Naida S V(even if not the H2O version)?
