Yes,Foxrac,Mac's DVD player does show CC,but not all the time. If I record from my standalone DVD player (Toshiba) a tv program,and play the disk in the computer,the captions will not show up.(Even if I select for CC.) But if I play movies,I have captions. Roca

I'm looking for one too,LCD. Probably 19-25". I'd also like to have a clock and on and off timers as well so I could awaken to a light source in addition to my alarm clock tone. Roca

Would anyone know of any good DVD players for Macintosh computers? The one that came with my Mac Mini 2007 edition doesn't always show closed captioning. I have the VLC player which is good but are there other ones out there? Thanks! Roca
