    i missed a lot of assignments in my algebra class because i never heard her give them out... and when i went in without my work, i'd say that i didn't hear her, but i'd still get in trouble for not listening... i tell all my teachers when i meet them, "i'm hard-of-listening." they just stare...

    When are we allowed to let Hearing people join our culture and all.

    i am always a little worried about that. i go to a mostly deaf church. i'm not fluent in ASL, so everytime i go there, it is a learning experience. i am afraid that the youth at the church will not accept me because maybe they think i'm only using them to learn a cool language or something...

    Tokyo Disneyland

    I met a deaf couple at Disneyland in Tokyo, Japan. The woman only knew three signs in ASL, "A", "B", and "C"... it was really amazing how even though we didn't share a language, we could still share our thoughts. i think it's easer for two people without a common language to understand...

    My Story!

    i have tinnitis,too. i've had it for as long as i can remember, but it's the worst it's ever been... the doc tried to give me pills for an ear infection and found out i'm allergic to antibiotics... i've been told that there is nothing that can be done for tinnitis.... *shrug*
