    Speech reading lessons

    I am HoH and don't like using my hearing aids which makes communication harder. I didn't take lessons but I've kinda taught myself speech reading. I'm also in school for Deaf Studies so I've been studying ASL for a few years. There is still way too much guessing and building what is being said...

    For Late-deafened

    I am late deafened. I started losing my hearing when I was 16(now 23). I just got hearing aids this summer and it makes a HUGE difference in all parts of my life. But I feel like I don't fit in either world, Deaf or hearing.

    I'm trying to decide my major track for school...Deaf Studies:Human Service and Elementary Ed and a double major in Deaf Studies. Any ideas on what kind of jobs I can get with the Human Services track. I know I can always do Deaf Ed for my masters. Any input would be great! Thanks.
