    I am so glad that my family and I live close to stores, police dept, and hospital and post office. Everything is close by and my job is close by as well. SO i am very fortunate that we dont' have to do far way to do our shoppoing as well.

    Never limit yourself in any circumstances.. I am deaf/amputee and i still keep myself busy. My father taught me that just because I can't join the Marines, doesn't mean I can't have the spirit of the Marines. It's the human spirits that thrives us to keep on living.

    Funny thing you brought up music.... I play the piano, sax, and drums... and I am close to profoundly deaf. It's the music i can read and the feeling of the music beat or vibrations that i enjoy.

    I guess as a parent, the best way to raise any child is to love him or her and teach this child the difference between right and wrong. I can speak 4 languages and I am doing well. My wife and I are deaf with 2 hearing daughters and we are doing very well. God bless your journey!
