It really broke my heart when reading this, I am really sorry about your loss I hope her mother is doing okay and its really important to remember the good times. She also sounds young which is always heartbreaking.

Feel really sorry for you and your friend's mother on her daughter's passing.
Unsure how religious you are and if so how strong your faith. Not judging you.
May good memories and the support of family and friends comfort you.
