My MIL wishes I was a doctor or lawyer. She'd be happier if I were. She hated when I was a commercial fisherman and thinks working with youths is demeaning. I hated 3 of her husbands and only like the first one, my wife's father. He's a great guy.

Depends on the person. Some people will blame one event and live their life around it. Other's will get past a traumatic event and get on with life.

I hate Starbucks. I can't force myself to like paying $5 for a .50 cup of hot/flavored water. I'm allergic to caffiene, so have never had coffee, but have had their hot chocolate. Luckily, my wife has a Starbucks a block from where she works and goes there 3-4 days a week. :)
