Good choice! I use method products too. They're environmentally friendly, have no animal derived ingredients and do not test on animals. They're really good products. I buy mine at Target.

I do not mind providing food for a guest as long as they don't abuse the privilege of eating my food. It also depends on how long they're staying. If they're staying for more than a few days I would expect them to buy their own food, but I would need to discuss this with them before they came...

Yeah, we love our critters! Giving up ice cream and cheese was hard for me too. Its gotten a lot better now and I enjoy a lot of the rice based ice creams they have on the market. Depends on where you live though if those are really available! My husband only knows what I have taught him...
