how does one find job for deaf

I am and always will be, really big on respect. I respect people's rights to say whatever they want, whenever they want, just not always however they want. I will always do my best to show respect to those people who have been disrespected or oppressed by others, regardless of their mental IQ...

how does one find job for deaf

Csign does not bother me...nor does anyone else with an ax to grind. HE/She has made their point that either: they do not like that word they are looking for a fight or just maybe they have an INA deficit (INA = I Need Attention)

how does one find job for deaf

To judge a person without merit, is to put that person into a box, or group in which they have no desire to belong. Therefor, I encourage everyone to take the time needed to ask about your neighbor, learn what makes him/her say & do the things they say & do, then & only then, if it still needs...

how does one find job for deaf

Ms.Katie: that's a hard Q to answer... it is my experience that there are too many hearing people that treat deaf like they are stupid or retarded...so because of that attitude, they want nothing to do with the deaf. find out if there is an unemployment office in your city...hopefully they...

Ms.Bottesini, you must be an amazing Lady. Granted, I have not been here long, but after reading past posts from you & others, it seems everyone speaks very highly of you & I can not find one post where you got riled about something. you always seem so quiet & calm, etc. I saw the pics of...

United Healthcare pays for HAs thanks to ADA

TY for posting this. I know it took a lot of work to write all that out. I never knew that Bush did anything good for the deaf or HOH. :(

United Healthcare pays for HAs thanks to ADA

I think it's a bunch of B.S. that anyone should have to pay out any amount of money for HA's when you have an insurance policy. HA's are just as important as spectacles & yet they are covered.... Because I do not have the $$ & I do not have United Healthcare, I have to go on welfare just to...

    Don't throw your TTY away!

I would love to have 1 or 2 of them ancient machines. :) I wouldn't even care if they worked or not....chances are, I could make them work. I used to work for the phone company back in Indiana, so I know quite a bit about how them things work....

    Don't throw your TTY away!

Back in Indiana where I grew up, the only way for the deaf or HOH to call police, emergency or not, is through relay service. The Police Dept. said that they can not justify the cost of a TTY(buying the unit, & training everyone on how to use it) & the VP Internet thing is not secure enough...

    Don't throw your TTY away!

I have a TTY & will always have a TTY instead of the VP internet thing. I do not like the way I look on camera or in Pictures is why I refuse to get rid of my TTY. I have had mine for 12 yrs, & I STILL baby the crap out of it. I made a hard clear plastic cover to keep out the dust, plus I...
