:welcome: to AD. I am hearing but I love the Deaf community and I am working toward becoming an ASL Interpreter. I am saddened to hear about how people will segregate you because of how you sound. Typical of most hearing people as I have found. I wish you luck in every thing you do and try. :wave:

That is so awesome. Yea I tend to be wierder than most men. I wanted a child before we got pregnant and I want a girl, I take care of my wife... What is wrong with me? lol just kidding they are good qualities. I am so excited for my wife to get a bigger belly and for us to have the ultrasound...

I cant see the pictures, but still you came to Seattle? Would have been cool to know and several of us could have met up with you.

I am not sure if I would be the best at training anyone as I myself am also still learning ASL. The best thing would be for you to take classes. Most colleges should be offering them.

Don't worry Maya, you are not the only wierdo in the world. I also feel a strong connection to the Deaf community. That is why I am working toward being an ASL interpreter myself so I will be able to be more in the culture. Remember your not the only wierdo.

She is now 8 weeks pregnant. Our baby is looking more like a real baby instead of an alien lol. it was awesome we got to see its heart beating.
