Hi, I'm so frustrated. I'm taking ASL classes right now and it is really frustrating. The instructor is profoundly deaf from birth, also Deaf, fluent in ASL (obviously LOL). She is really nice & patient. But my problem is this. I'm only hard of hearing and hearing aids dont really help a lot...

I don't wear anything right now. I can't afford a digital aid and the regular ones (analog) I've had don't work really well b/c they distort stuff so much.

My worst to read is George W Bush. Cant figure out a thing he says if I try to lip read him. I'm not good at it to begin with and then give me someone like him and I'm terrible! A couple of the Fox news/MSNBC/Cnn type people are good though.

or how about when you ask a person to repeat what they said and they just give you the look like you are an alien who just suddenly landed in front of them? or they totally ignore you. or you ask them to repeat and they only repeat part of what was said. people can be so rude!!

I HATE the word nevermind. I vote to get rid of it.
