I was given an Otterbox 1000 series today from my daughters Audiologist to put her hearing aids in while inbetween activities at the waterparks this summer. It's report is that it is waterproof and completely airtight. I am doing a test at the house now with something less costly than her aids...

I'm sure people are also paying higher co-pays but its just been a strain on us. I have 2 daughters both born with some congenital disorder so medical bills have just gotten to best of me lately.

I will ask about switching to a self pay set up....didn't think about that but your very right many offices provide discounts. Thanks! At least one option to try out.

We really noticed a verbal issue around 4-5 months old when her only sounds were these gurggly growling sounds and shrill squeals... no other babbling was present until after she had worn her hearing aids which was a number of months later.
