I am, I was just saying it was an accident. I corrected it before you even posted. I read a lot and in forums when I see that convention (lower case starting a string of caps or words that would be capitalized that begin with lower case letters followed by caps) I can tell it was an acident.

Nothing wrong with that at all. People seemed to start ganging up on my when I was just saying what I though. I wasn't condeming anyone for it, I didn't know it was a regular term and wasn't trying to offend anyone. But it seems like I did (especially Reba).

I know about caps, and when you see a string of caps that starts with a lower case letter then you might consider someone hit the caps lock on accident. What I meant when I wrote "professional" is that I have a more...how should I say this... formal "mentality."

I think it would be cool to have the movie studios offer an online release to deaf people who regester with them so they could pay to view it on their PCs when it comes out at the movies.

I'm a big Iron Man fan. Collected tons of IM comics. I'm going to the movie anyway. I'll probably know the story anyway. I, too, think it sucks to have to wait for DVD releases.

Ok Back on topic. I don't like when someone approaches me and asks for something, like directions, etc and if I don't understand them I tell them I can't hear and they say"Oh, I'm sorry" and walk away.

I'm having a bit of culture shock being here. I'm deaf, been deaf for about 15 years, this is probably as close as I've ever been to deaf culture, but I still wouldn't want to be called a deafie. I wouldn't use the term at all, I wouldn't even call anyone that even if they're cool with it...

Hence the term "if I..." in what I said.
