Google Maps Street View Car! (same kind of car, probably different car).

The Google car was passing by as I let my dog out to do his business. At first, I thought it was something else until I realised what it was.

I thought it was awesome and honour to finally get to see the car so close.

I sure hope they didn't take snapshots of my dog and myself, and put us on the online map (Google Maps). :Ohno:

Have any of you ever seen the car(s) before?
 
No I havent see that cars :confused: However... I did checked but not blue line in my town yet!! Whew!! Heheh
 
Fast pace techology is here already. I don't like one bit about showing everything what people have on the map. It violates people's rights to privacy.

:werd: I am 100 percent agree with you because Sometime I do nude at private area with walls for Sun to get tan… But Not private by above the sky :eek: :squint:
 
I live near Charleston, and sometimes work there but I've never seen these cars. I wonder if they drove them all the way from California?
 
i havent seen one yet. they havent done seattle area on the street view map yet. they have done portland and other cities already.
 
When will we be able to see the results at Google Map?

If the Google guy actually drove up a private drive then that is trespass. They should only take pictures from public areas.

I read the description of their house, and it didn't seem to be any special.

However, I suspect that this couple just wants to take advantage of the deep pockets at Google, and don't really care if their house picture is displayed.
 
I have see google cars often in my local since google company is closer to my local. its common for me, probably its new to other states that havent see it.
 
Reba is right, these houses can be seen by the public... so it's not really an invasion of privacy. However, if you drive right up onto their property and roads, then yes you are invading their privacy. Just make sure to keep your curtains shut when you are in the buff.

:-oOMG! Are u serious??? I need to tell my hubby this!!! WHY? cuz he
PEES outside cuz he says we live out in the country and nobody "sees"
him!! Now this? this google thing "SEES" him and other people pee outside??
oh mercy, mercy!!! LOL!!!! If that is true, then he will have to quit doing
this stupid practice of peeing outside....LOL!

all this just makes me want to run out into my backyard butt ass naked and flash the sky in hopes that I become the Google Model. :lol:
 
I think I saw one last year in my area. I spotted blue car w/ rooftop frame and somthing sticking out on top during last fall. I wonder what heck is that until last Febuary, I learned there are Google Street. Then I fiddle around new Google Street in my area. I decide to scroll further down to car's rooftop and spotted familiar frame and realized that it's the same car I saw!!! I saw my neighbor block away was on candid camera. I haven't told him that he's on Google Street pic raking leaves. As I clicked step by step, he was walking and standing on driveway looking down at lawn. Funny. He's the member of my church!! Hee Hee Hee :lol:
