Hello! i am here for gather your opinion or fact..

i want to know how compare those..
i did compare but need more..

can you tell me those compare? AND TELL ME WHICH ONE THE BEST..! thank!
here are.. HTC touch,HTC cruise, Palm Centro, BB curve 8330, HTC mogul.
i think that all.. i am not sure.. i will find more later after they rely this.. then i go add here.. ok

HTC Touch is nice but I dislike keyboard on screen. Require to use Pen styli on keyboard.
HTC (Sprint Mogul or AT&T Tilt) is nice one. Some people love or hate M$ Windows. My wife has AT&T Tilt. She likes it.
BB is nice one. One thing problem for her no feel vibration (weak vibration).

Most important for you to play with few different devices at Sprint Store or AT&T Store or T-Mobile's sidekick. You will feel comfortable, good vibration, clear read message or internet and familiar with smartphone.

Please do not listen anyone tell you take BB or Mogul or Tilt or Palm or Sidekick or other. You will make decision to pick right kind for you. Let you review at online or magazine.

If, you do not know any thing special price for deaf or HH at AT&T's NCCD.

yea i went to store,, some device wont show.. grr!! so i had to research those..

If, you are in the Mall or Best Buy. Most device won't show real one. Best way to go regular store like AT&T or T-Mobile or Sprint or Verizon Wireless or Apple Store.
 
If you have ALLTEL in your area, they have few good phones that you can actual test them (make calls, text message, etc) - No "fake phone" demos.

I currently have Motorola Q phone which I had it for 13 months and still happy with it.. ALLTEL just offered BB 8330 Curve - but I can't get it until after May 15 cuz I am employee there (I work in network operations - not in tech or sales).

As for Q phone, they have excellent vibration and texting. But no Picture Messaging for this phone, maybe newer model??
 
Hey Houserace....

How come your town that they have excellent deaf community in Austin? Ask your friend who has pager. They will show you something.

If, you are at the store. Ask sales rep, they will let you try it. Also, you ask them where is "no fake" demo.

I guess you are in big city then they do not want real demo on display. Try go to suburb.

HorseRace, I can't tell you which one of the best devices... what depend on kind of device what you look for and suit it on you. ;) But you have look at pro and con of indiviual devices.

BB is mate me!

darkage, yea most were using sk3 or older..
and other BB (older vision).. so i havent see anyone use something different like i say it here.. but you has different one.. so far, not that what i want .. smile

One of my friend never saw my Apple iPhone and my wife has AT&T Tilt. I seem that he does not accept to see us use other brands than common pager (most SK) for deaf. He asked me why not use Sidekick or BB. He gave me hard time to discuss. Just ignored him as "Caveman".

You know this forum, Deaf people use other brands (Moto Q, Tilt, Mogul, Palm, etc.....) better than tradition like sidekick.
 
I have used my friend's palm the other day when she was recovering from the surgery and I spoke to the nurse on the phone. Yea I can hear as I am hard of hearing. Anyway I was having a bit difficult to hear the phone so I gave it to my son. :D

there is nothing wrong with being SK hard core. if vampy is happy with sk mobiles, then i am happy for him. :)

sometimes i ignore him when he "bashes" us that he doesnt see the points why we have the better mobiles. :)

I know he does not have any pager. Some people told him that he should have smartphone as pager. He works at deaf school.
Many times, I taught him how to use computer. Long time, he worked as handy man. That's why he is not ready for everything new tech.
Someday, he will have to accept to take smartphone.

He does have SK3.
