I just found free amAze GPS navigation for your mobile phone.... blackberry, LG, Nokia, Sony and few other.
Soon coming Mobile Windows.

Too bad to us that we do not have any BB.
I do not see any price for service. Maybe, I miss to notice any hidden price.

I prefer stick to Live Search for blackberry. Map and directions are that good enough for me. :P

I don't find GPS feature on Google Map via BB 8820.

Google Map - Just show map without GPS.

Amaze GPS - will show GPS (free?)

TeleNav is not free GPS. (free for 30 days)

I already downloaded and installed Google Map in Sprint's BB 8830 for my wife couple weeks ago and it works!! It's a real neato that I can switch to "Satellite" mode and see pix of houses in my area LOL! Cooowwlll!! Her 8830 already have 2 GPS softwares in it. I can use Sprint Map or Google Map either way. Nice!!

It only works with BB that have GPS built in.

Google Map will show your location but it not a true GPS.

It uses cell tower like Telenav and you have to press "0" to update your location on Google Map or select menu then "My Location" in Google Map to see where you are now.

It will not be exact like GPS but it will be very close and also if your out of tower range then it will not able to show your location.

What kind of phone that you use?

I'm using BB 8820 and GPS won't display on list via Google Map but it did displayed on other BB model.

Goggle map do not need GPS to show your location.

Goggle map can also use radio tower to narrow down your location on map like Telenav.

I do not have a BB but it should work the same without a GPS built in.

Make sure you have latest goggle map and start goggle map then see if BB have menu My Location or try press number zero on BB to see if it will pop up your location on goggle map

Radio tower is not always perfect like GPS but work good inside a large city with many radio towers.

Everyone here who uses or relies on GPS... remind me of the Blackberry commercial.

Three people (2 men & 1 woman) are walking together through the city. Man2 is holding his Blackberry and reading off his GPS like it was his "precious". The Man1 and Woman are looking at him wondering if the Blackberry is really as good as he says it is. Man1 takes the Blackberry out of Man2's hand as he and Woman continue to walk. While he's looking at the Blackberry wondering what's so good about it, they realize that Man2 is behind... standing there looking around like a poor lost boy about to cry for his mommy. Woman gestures to give it back. Man1 gives the Blackberry back to Man2. As soon as it enters Man2's hand, Man2 begins to talk again about all the directions they're supposed to go as he's reading from his GPS.

I had a friend who was exactly like that! Me, a female friend, and him were playing cards. While playing cards, he kept looking at his Blackberry... reading information online, talking on AIM, and e-mails. We had to keep telling him that it was his turn. "Oh, sorry. *puts down Blackberry* *spends a minute figuring out which card to play* *discards card* *picks up Blackberry*

We got tired of him acting like that. So, I took the Blackberry away from him. From that point on, his face looked like the face of a poor lost boy who had nothing to live for. When it was his turn, he couldn't play. He was too worried about who was online for his AIM, who emailed him, and what the website said. (This website was Digg. He had no new emails. No one had signed on recently or was talking to him.) He would sit there wondering what card to play. He complained that he couldn't remember the rules or forgot what he phase he was on and what he was supposed to do. (We were playing Phase 10.) She and I finally agreed to give it back to him. As soon as it entered his hand, he started acting all happy like a poor little boy who got a nice shiny new toy for the first time.

Pity.
