Hell's Kitchen: Season 4 Premiere Announced
Monday, November 12, 2007
The current strike of the Writers Guild of America is impacting the schedules for all of the networks. One show that can weather the storm is Hell's Kitchen. As a reality series, it's immune from the fall-out from the strike, since Gordon Ramsay can be depended on, apparently, to come up with his foul-mouthed rants against the contestants all by himself.

Fox has been reshuffling their spring line-up, and recently confirmed the premiere date and time for the new season of Hell's Kitchen, moving it up from its previous announced time in the summer of 2008.

Ramsay and his happy troupe of chefs will be heading back into Hell's Kitchen on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at 9pm Eastern. Right now, the show is slated to be a one-hour premiere.

These days, dates, and times are all subject to another shuffling if and when the strike is resolved, and we'll keep you updated on any new developments.

In the meantime, if you live or plan to be in the Los Angeles area, you can make a request to be one of the customers dining at Hell's Kitchen. Fox's website offers contact information for making a reservation while the new season is taping.

The Fox website also has a link to a casting area, although the information on it includes past dates and therefore might not actually represent a search for season 5. However, since the current television landscape is favoring reality TV series, one might assume that a season 5 is a likelihood. So individual chefs, keep sharpening your knives and developing your ability to take abuse.

Restaurant owners, if you want in on the Gordon Ramsay action, you still have a chance, too. Fox is still accepting applications for Ramsay's other show, Kitchen Nightmares, as well. For more information, see the show pages on Fox's website.

Finally something to get me excited about watching t.v. again! That strike threw everything off track.

Oh yea! I miss watching CSI! But writer went on strike! :(

Sooo good thing Hell's kitchen is back! WHOO WHOO!

Another thing: Geo's HK recaps are coming back!! WOOT

I wonder if his attitude is going to be worse... meaner than before?

I remember when he started calling his customers names. Heh!

Whooo hoooo. I love watching Hells Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares. I can not wait. Wow it is early this year!

NEver heard of it :dunno:
Never?

You might like it.

It's a reality show where some chosen people are split into teams (2 teams). They are supervised by the host who is very mean and very harsh, but can be nice if you catch him at the right time. He challenges these teams with tasks that are either easy or difficult. At the end of each show, a person is eliminated... usually by choice, voting, or reasoning.

These competition usually involve real people visiting the restaurant. They order something, the contestants cook those orders, then the customers review what they ate. Did they wait too long? Was it overcooked or undercooked?

Sounds interesting. Is the show air once per week or everyday?

April 1st?? Umm...is this 'nother joke brewin' from the kitchen?

All kidding aside, that's great and sure can't wait to see it. I've enjoyed watching these episodes, although, I've really enjoyed watching the other series where he would visit a restaurant and give the help it desperately needed. Those were good to watch too.

Look forward to the watching the new season--

Hell's Kitchen is coming out on April 8th on DVD but the problem that it's from a Cananda company so I highly doubt that it has english sutitles or closed caption :(

I only discovered Ramsey's show earlier this year. I guess I have been living under a rock.:) Anyway, at this stage, the only TV shows that I look forward to are Ramsey's cooking shows. I am addicted..:)

Funny, I was just thinking the same thing about that. Somehow I think he acting like a jerk most of the time. I did see his own tv show not long ago called kitchen's hell that he try to help people in different resturants to do better. But he cuss awfully lot with that mouth geez! ha
