I tend to read too much during the day. By night fall my eyes can't see the pages of a book clearly: this prevents me reading further- I get fuzzy vision.

Does this happen to you?

Do you think that I should visit an Optometrist?
 
Could just be eye strain, but I would visit an optometrist to be sure. Perhaps you just need glasses for reading.

Yes, and I found out that I need to have bifocal eyeglasses as I was already wearing eyeglasses since I was 10. Since you don't have eyeglasses, you might need just the reading glasses. Usually when people turned 40, they need one. I was in my early 40's when I need bifocal.

Hmm. Let's not get ahead ourselves. I still have to make an appointment with the doctor. He/she will determine my options: glasses or not.
 
Oh boy. My eyes have failed me again tonight. I had to stop reading/studying my material because everything is so very fuzzy. I can't make out anything on the page.

My problem: Two weeks ago I changed my health insurance provider and it does not kick in until next month. So I have to wait to see an eye doctor then. :pissed:

Women are known to be attracted to 4 eyes person after they keep on being dumped by bad boys. After all, personality should triumph over looks right? :D

Nah! Glasses are a fashion statement now. You will be very stylish!

Just a thought. You might want to ask if it is possible that the vision problems are a side effect of your meds. Might be able to try a different med, or adjust the dosage.
 
Didn't you know that glasses are now into the modern styles?

I would not change my cocktail of meds for anything. Do you know how long it took my doctor and I to finally get the combo of pills that brought me back to normal? A long time. Changing them is out of the question.

I will see an eye doctor and get his/her advice. I will not touch my meds. :eek3:

That's fine. It was simply a suggestion. The types of meds that are prescribed can sometimes create visaul disturbance as one of the side effects. It is good to know that you are satisfied with your regimen of meds.
 
My medication is a very important part of my life that words can't describe to you (or anyone) how vital they are to me. They keep me sane. Bipolar effects are something I truly want to stay clear away from with all my might. I do not play with that...not sir/mam.

I hope it all works out... but sometimes pharmacies get meds mixed up with out you knowing, like the Doses and brand.

Blurred vision could be a sign of other medical illnesses also.
