KFC Deaf employees in Egypt

That's awesome!

We should set one up here in USA to be run by deaf people!
 
AWESOME!!! Someday I'll go to Egypt! It is one of my dream vacation. :) And I love their amazing HISTORY!!! KFC make me hungry! :lol:

Definetly, it will show Hearing society that Deaf people can do. Therefore; we do not have to hearing aid or CI. ;)

yes,I am extremely surprised because Egypist apparently more friendly than I thought.

I am so impressed that they are welcome to the Deaf people to work at KFC.

LOL...it is like I told another ADer that a hearing aid or a CI doesnt give the child more opportunities. It depends on the individual to create more opportunities for themselves. I cant believe that remark about that.

These employees seem happy and well accepted by the customers..that is all we need from the hearing people.

Yes, it gives me goose bumps on my arms. I wish, America would welcome us more equal with hearing people s salary as successful career.

I guess in America it is all about being number #1. We, deaf people, need to educate ourselves better if the school systems failed us. Then, go for the higher paying jobs and dont give up.

I know a few deaf people who have college degrees but after getting turned down for a job, they give up just like that. That's sad.

That's where those old societal attitudes toward deafness come in, and where the medical model for defining disability still influences the treatment of any one with a difference. But there are those who tell me that isn't so, and it just doesn't happen. Go figure. Maybe they need to spend some time in the real world!:giggle:

LOL! I worked there for 3 years during high school. I hated working there so much. I prefer to being just a customer...hahaha!

KFC Deaf in Egyptian Sign Language - far out!!!

I heard Europe's KFC food is way more delicious than America's. I gotta try that someday.
