Armageddom is about 3 weeks away in Pittsburgh,Pa

but we have add WWE superstars to fight for titles on the line but im not sure about ECW add would be!

Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy
WWE: TV Shows > Armageddon > Matches > Match Preview

On the surface, the showdown between Triple H and Jeff Hardy at Armageddon appears odd because these are two Superstars who do not have a budding rivalry with each other. The Game doesn’t covet Jeff’s Intercontinental Championship, and the Master of the Swanton Bomb doesn’t seem – at least on the surface – to want to use Triple H as a steppingstone into the upper echelon of WWE.

But perhaps Jeff Hardy should see The King of Kings as a steppingstone. A victory over the 11-time World Champion would be a defining moment in his career and potentially put him in line for an opportunity at the WWE Championship.

Triple H and Jeff share a bond and mutual respect that was forged from being teammates on victorious Survivor Series teams two consecutive years. They have also watched each other in the ring and admired each other’s work ethic and ring style. Years ago, they even battled against each other in the ring, as Jeff won the first of his four Intercontinental Championships from Triple H in 2001.

"Stepping into the ring with Triple H will be an honor," Jeff said on Raw. "We've been on an incredible roll since Survivor Series. I just hope what happens at Armageddon doesn't ruin our friendship."

Winning the WWE Championship has long been a dream for Jeff Hardy. Before Cyber Sunday, he admitted that his career wouldn’t feel complete without winning the most coveted prize in sports-entertainment. Defeating The Game would help him make great progress toward getting that golden opportunity.

But Triple H will not lay down for anybody, no matter how much he respects them. He wants to show the world, at Jeff Hardy’s expense, that he is still truly The King of Kings, the Superstar by which all other Superstars are measured.

"I've never been good at the 'friends' thing, Jeff," Triple H told Hardy. "Just remember, at Armageddon, you're not stepping into the ring with a partner. You're not stepping into the ring with a friend. You're stepping into the ring with The Game."

What will happen when the “Rainbow-haired Warrior” and The Game collide at Armageddon? Catch Armageddon live on pay-per-view and find out.

Shawn Michaels vs. Mr. Kennedy
WWE: TV Shows > Armageddon > Matches > Match Preview

The fight for supremacy between two of Raw’s top Superstars will spill over to Armageddon, as Shawn Michaels and Mr. Kennedy will face off in the ring at the spectacular in the Steel City.

The Green Bay, Wis., loudmouth has been irate as of late, telling everyone who’ll listen that he deserves a WWE Championship opportunity. The 2007 Money in the Bank winner had that chance in hand after WrestleMania 23, but lost it due to an injury.

After seeing HBK request another chance at Randy Orton’s WWE Title, Kennedy could take it no more, and challenged Michaels’ request. He said The Showstopper has had his opportunities and that it was time for him to step aside.

Kennedy certainly has the résumé to be a championship contender. He’s worn the United States Title, and has beaten seven world champions, including Undertaker, Rey Mysterio and current World Heavyweight Champion, Batista.

But The Showstopper will likely have something to say about Kennedy’s caterwauling over lost championship opportunities.

Despite losing to Orton at Survivor Series (though without his Sweet Chin Music in his arsenal), HBK is increasingly angry at those who have tried to build their careers at his expense.

And as seen when Kennedy caught Sweet Chin Music through a steel chair, Michaels doesn’t take kindly to those who mock his championship-laden, highlight-reel career.

Pittsburgh will be ready for a brutal battle of two Superstars with steel resolve and championship dreams. Who will come out on top? Watch Armageddon on Dec. 16, only on pay-per-view to find out.

Finlay vs. The Great Khali
WWE: TV Shows > Armageddon > Matches > Match Preview

Last month at Survivor Series, The Great Khali battled a fighting Irishman (well, maybe more accurately half a fighting Irishman) in Hornswoggle in the greatest mismatch of all time. But this month, the Punjabi Nightmare will take on someone closer to his own size and 100 times tougher in the man who’s never met a fight he didn’t love – Finlay.

The trouble between these two SmackDown Superstars started when a shillelagh-wielding Finlay surprised Mr. McMahon – and all of WWE – when he interjected himself in Hornswoggle’s match with Khali and saved the 4-foot-4 leprechaun from a 7-foot-3, 420-pound demolition. The Chairman had wanted his illegitimate son to experience some “tough love,” but Finlay kept saving his former associate from tough spots. First, it was against Khali and then in a No Disqualification Match with Carlito on Raw.

It’s not really clear how the Chairman feels about Finlay protecting Hornswoggle or why he has set up the match between him and Khali. Has he been trying to trying to destroy Hornswoggle? If so, is he teaching Finlay a lesson for meddling in his affairs? But one thing may be certain: The tough as nails Irishman may not appreciate this "surprise" from the Chairman, even though he loves to fight. And even though he is a giant and relishes a chance to get his vise-like hands on Finlay, The Great Khali may not appreciate the Irishman either, especially if he has his shillelagh.

Don’t miss this collision between Finlay and The Great Khali at Armageddon live on pay-per-view on Sunday, Dec. 16.

Mickie James vs. Beth Phoenix (Women's Championship)
WWE: TV Shows > Armageddon > Matches > Match Preview

Mickie James has been on the roll of her career lately, and she hopes to use that momentum to overcome a rather sizable speed bump known as Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix.

The Glamazon enters the Women’s Championship Match having intimidated nearly every Diva on the roster by flaunting her unique size and strength advantage. But for her part, Mickie, a former Women’s Champion, continues to ride a wave of momentum that has carried her through to the title opportunity with a win recently against Melina on Raw.

Having tasted championship gold three times before, Mickie could certainly draw on her experience as a former Women’s Champion to formulate a plan of attack that will emphasize her many strengths. She may need to rely heavily on the stamina and quickness that she’s showcased the past several weeks to notch an upset over the Glamazon.

It must be said, however, that the Glamazon will not go gently. The self-described “perfect combination of strength and beauty” has leveled anyone who has dared challenge her rule. Despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, however, the fact remains that Phoenix is indeed vulnerable. One need only look to her match at Unforgiven against Candice Michelle to recall how the former Women’s Champion surprised Phoenix with a crucifix roll-up to earn the three-count.

The question remains, can Mickie keep her winning streak alive even against the force of Phoenix? Or will the Glamazon lay yet another Diva to waste?

Be sure to catch Armageddon, live on pay-per-view, on Sunday Dec. 16 at 8/7 CT to find out.

Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho (WWE Championship Match)
WWE: TV Shows > Armageddon > Matches > Match Preview

Although the encrypted videos that foreshadowed his second coming were mysterious, there was nothing vague about Chris Jericho’s mission when he returned to WWE. He wanted to “save us” from Randy Orton and take his WWE Championship. Now, after baiting the egotistical Legend Killer and taking away some of his spotlight, Jericho will get his wish. As first seen in an exclusive video on WWE Mobile at AT&T, Orton has accepted Y2J’s challenge and has now agreed to defend the WWE Championship against Jericho at Armageddon.

Our fans rejoiced when the “Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla” returned after a more than two-year absence. As a former seven-time Intercontinental Champion and the first Undisputed WWE Champion, Jericho knows what it’s like to wear gold and compete on the grandest stages. He’s not only a born showman, but he's also a natural champion – his resume of championships is almost too long to list. Y2J is back and focused and ready to rock – and that means Randy Orton’s title reign is in danger.

Or is it? Jericho has not been in the thick of the WWE Championship scene nor competed on pay-per-view in more than two years, and a lot has changed. Orton is no longer the up-and-comer he was considered to be in 2005 and has matured into a WWE Champion with an apparent firm grip on the title. In recent months, he has put out John Cena and defeated two of sports-entertainment’s elite, Triple H and Shawn Michaels. And the Legend Killer’s mean streak has become, well, legendary. The list of legends and Superstars he has put on the shelf reads like a who’s who in WWE. Just ask Dusty Rhodes, Rob Van Dam and HBK how dangerous Orton can be.

In addition, Orton becomes especially sadistic when he feels that someone is trying to steal his spotlight and his championship. The egotistical WWE Champion is clearly annoyed at Y2J’s return. Orton believes he should command the spotlight as the standard bearer of WWE. He has attempted to bask in what he believes is his rightful limelight since No Mercy in October when he was first awarded the WWE Championship. Instead, he has seen legendary Superstars challenge his place on center stage.

First, Triple H briefly took the WWE Title away from Orton and then a vengeful-minded Shawn Michaels pushed him to the limit. And just when he arrogantly thought he had defeated everyone, Jericho returned to torment him – to our fans’ delight.

Will Orton try to add Y2J to his legendary victims list and send him back into his sabbatical? Or will Jericho fulfill his mission and make his second coming the end of Orton’s days as WWE Champion? Make sure you catch Armageddon live on pay-per-view on Dec. 16 at 8/7 CT and find out.

Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
WWE: TV Shows > Armageddon > Matches > Match Preview

The most vicious circle in sports-entertainment becomes three-sided going into Armageddon, where Edge, Undertaker and World Heavyweight Champion Batista will square off in a Triple Threat Match. Although the gold is always the ultimate prize to strive for, this particular three-for-all is fueled by rage, resentment and retribution. Therefore, it seems only appropriate that this pay-per-view would host a conflict that could, in fact, be decisive and final for some of the parties involved.

For the Rated-R Superstar, Armageddon is an opportunity to reclaim the World Heavyweight Title that an injury had forced him to relinquish last July. As he told our fans on SmackDown, it’s also a chance to fulfill a dream that he now shares with his new love, General Manager Vickie Guerrero. Edge credits Vickie as the motivating force for his return at Survivor Series, where he interfered in Batista and Undertaker’s Hell in a Cell Match, and cost The Phenom a possible sixth World Title.

Survivor Series wasn’t the first time this year that the Ultimate Opportunist had robbed Undertaker of that which he holds in highest regard. Last May on SmackDown, after battling Batista to a Steel Cage stalemate and enduring a vicious surprise assault from Mark Henry, the battered Phenom was unable to stop Edge from cashing in a “Money in the Bank” contract and defeating him for the World Heavyweight Title. Therefore, it’s certainly understandable why The Deadman won’t rest in peace until he finally gets his hands on the Rated-R Superstar. And he’ll have that opportunity at Armageddon.

As usual, Edge isn’t happy about this – especially after he was forced to watch his lover suffer an Undertaker Tombstone on SmackDown a week after Survivor Series. Another week later, The Deadman nearly claimed his retribution when he suddenly interrupted Edge’s title match with Batista. But when The Animal speared Edge out of Undertaker’s cold clutches, allowing the Ultimate Opportunist to escape, The Phenom again took his building frustrations out on the nearest object within his grasp – this time, the World Heavyweight Champion, whom he nearly chokeslammed through the canvas.

It was at that moment when Theodore Long surprised our fans and all three Superstars with his first SmackDown appearance in more than two months, and announced the Triple Threat Match for Armageddon. The look on Undertaker’s face as he stood alone in the ring told our fans that he certainly welcomed the challenge…though some may question if his thirst for payback against Edge could outweigh an opportunity to capture the gold from Batista.

As for Edge, like we said, he’s not happy. “Who the hell does Teddy Long think he is, putting me in a Triple Threat Match with Batista and Undertaker?” he rhetorically asked WWE.com. “I just came back from a career-threatening injury that nearly cost WWE one of its best and brightest Superstars!

“I’m not worried about Batista,” he added. “He knows he can’t beat me, since he’s never done it when the title’s been at stake. Hell, I should still be champion, since I never even lost the damn title. But now I also have to go in the ring with that sick, twisted monster Undertaker, who almost destroyed the woman I love. Well, listen up, ‘Deadman’: Vickie may be a gentle, defenseless soul, but I’m not. I will destroy you, and at Armageddon, I’ll take back the World Heavyweight Championship that’s rightfully mine!”

Whether or not Edge can back up his claim won’t be answered until the pay-per-view, but he does make one valid point: He successfully defended his World Heavyweight Title in three consecutive confrontations with Batista this year. More important, The Animal may wear the championship now, but Edge has always been the Ultimate Opportunist; he knows full well that in a Triple Threat Match, a challenger doesn’t necessarily have to pin the champion to win the title.

“Hey, I get it,” Batista told WWE.com. “The odds are against me in a Triple Threat Match. But I won back the World Heavyweight Title in a Triple Threat Match. You don’t become a three-time World Champion if you spend all your energy worrying over how dangerous a match like this is.

The Animal speaks with a self-confidence he has truly earned since pinning The Great Khali for the World Heavyweight Championship at Unforgiven, then exorcising a very personal demon at Cyber Sunday when he defeated Undertaker. Clearly, it is a new, more powerful breed of Animal who relishes the coming three-for-all at Armageddon.

“Personally, I can’t wait to get Edge in the ring,” he said, “because it gives me the chance to give that little weasel the major ass-kicking he deserves. As for Undertaker…I don’t care why he chokeslammed me on SmackDown, or that he’s frustrated about not getting his hands on Edge. All that matters to me is defending my title at Armageddon, and reminding both of these guys who the World Heavyweight Champion is.”
