DIRT racing game

This game seem to be awesome but was not sure if this is good? They said it's out in demo for Xbox 360 has anyone tried it out? Is it any good? The screenshots of them looks awesome to me.

You've gotta see the trailers of CMR Dirt. It's awesesome. The wrecks are so truly outta of world. I saw a clip of a WRX being wiped out and rolled over 4 or so times losing a LOT of parts in the wreck. you can find the trailers at GameTrailers.com - The Source For Video Game Media

Even Pikes Peak Rally is included in the game and it looks 100x better than the Pikes Peak Course in Gran Turismo 2.

That game makes me think of my fave PC rally game, "Mobil 1 Championship Rally" almost a relaistic way back in 1999. I've finished a stage or two with blown motors, jammed trannies, missing body parts and even 3 wheels.

Wow I saw some of the trailers. It showed comparison between Forza 2 and Dirt. Interesting Dirt seem to be better than FM2. I will have to try both out before I can decide which suits me. I hope Nascar 08 beat them both lol.
 
I will get Dirt for PS3 verison because graphic would be superior, compared to Xbox 360.

Damn to DVD... ROCKS to BD!!!

DIRT is great for off-road racing. I tried that on demo. I liked it!

Similar like Motorstorm. It is hard to compare with that racing.

I liked Forza but long way to finish career. I have not tried on online racing yet.

I believed that I will own several games like DIRT, and Nascar 2008.

Right now, I owned Forza. I liked it a lot. I am on level 18. It is fun racing and can be addict for this game.

Nice man, I will get them all too! I think Dirt is better off on PS3 since Dirt are devloping more graphics and stuff like that since PS3 blu ray disc allowed 50GB. As for Nascar 08 it wouldnt matter to me which is better x360 or PS3 because I am getting them both if someone want race with me on Nascar online. PS3 use Logitech wheel support. But for Xbox 360? No idea.

I got Xbox Elite and I tried out DIRT demo.. it sucks man. Driving isn't realistic at all.
 
I agree about the 360 demo of this game. I still want to rent it and try it out though, because I think the demo is of the arcade aspect of the game.
 
I want to take back what I said about "Dirt". I got bored and decided to play the demo again and I changed the view to hood where I usually use on all racing games. I saw the difficult level to choose from. There are 5 of them but the demo only allowed 2 to choose from (Rookie or Amartuer) So I am stuck with Amarturer then played it again in Hood view and I am starting to getting the grip every turns and it's pretty good. I was guessing maybe Dr Love is right... the full version might be better. So I wasn't sure which to get "Dirt" on PS3 or xbox 360. PS3 will come out soon in Sept I think.
 
The PS3 version of CMR Dirt sure is coming out Sept. But for me Dirt is on hold cuz of Heavenly Sword, LAIR and GTA 4. With those good games for the PS3 coming out. I would really loved to have Dirt in September, but the dragons, Nariko and Liberty City is gonna take a deathgrip on my wallet :lol:

I'd rent and check out various reviews of Lair first. I think it got a low score from a review site. 5.5 from IGN or some other site..

I hate CMR games on Xbox version, control looks too tricky to me and Dirt's control looks no difference from previous CMR series on Xbox, I rather to take on PS3 version.

If you do then we might be able to race online together on this DiRT game for PS3. 360 controller is good for racing but I dont know about PS3. Maybe getting a wheel will help? I like angoly sticks on controller for steering because I can make a sharp turn quicker on sticks than wheel.
 
Downloaded the demo off PSstore for PS3. Looks good but SIXAXIS controller is harder to handle on this game than the 360 controller.

Oh shit, I had tried on Nascar 08 demo on Xbox 360 and their control is much easier than PS3 does.

Thats what I noticed too. I am going to rent Nascar 08 off gamefly after BioShock.
 
I saw the trailers, wow it's impressive rally game. I love rallies. ;)
