Worst Mistake and Best Decision?

my worst mistake was leaving NTID as I was homesick.. LOL.. jeez..

my best decision was having TJ... he is a Joy to have! :)

Wayne Farms. It is the 3rd largest poultry processing company in the US behind Tyson and Butterball.

In that case it's a good thing to have quit before you came down with salmonella as these are really evil places these agrobuisnesses. :pissed:

my worst mistake is cut my best friend's head off by accident during play around each.

My best decision I keep my best friend's head in my locker.

Wayne Farms LLC

It's 4th after you quit job.

Yeah they quit supplying to Dutch House a while back so they dropped a bit, but still going strong.

The current chicken plant I work at now is on the verge of a salmonella out break, they take chicken off the floor and throw it back on the belt without washing it. I get disgusted every time I see it. I wont name names though because I dont want to lose my job. I will say they have been busted within the last 2 years for hiring illegals.:eek3: :pissed:

I encourage you to quit your job and get a friendly environment job (not related meat factories). It is a depression job that you work for the plant. I won't even try to work there - no way. I would get SSI, and keep searching a job someplace else.

I would but I dont have the reliable vehicle to go out of town to work everyday. That is why I must stay here and work two jobs at seperate chicken plants to pay off bills and buy a new truck, then go else where for a better job.

As for SSI Im not even familiar with it and I am not even sure if I qualify for it even though I am hoh/deaf, single mom, and have low income.

I do know that when I was younger (around 13 or 14) when my hearing really started to drop off my parents tried to get SSI but were turned down because they made too much.

If someone here that is familiar with SSI I may try to go and apply for it, but I have nothing to lose anyway other than some time filling out paperwork.

What is the worst mistake u have made in your life? Taking asl classes was a huge mistake.

What is the best decision u have made in your life? Asking my girlfriend to Marry me.

Why was taking ASL a huge mistake??

My worst mistake = not saving money, it is nearly impossible to buy a house right now

Best decision = Taking ASL lol I have met so many fun people and have been introducted to the culture. It has been so much fun

I have made a lot of mistakes in my life and did learn for each mistake. It helped me to become more wiser and stronger.

The best decision made was accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I am forgiven for all my sins. I am still learning more.

My Mistake>> move out California :(
My Best .>> Hope move back to California someday :giggle:

I suffer from partial complex seizures, so I space out often. As a result, the instructor thinks I am not paying attention or listening.

Also, I am hard of hearing, so I get treated like I am deaf, dumb, and stupid. Thats the way most of the other students treat me, their very disrespectful when they voice stuff and I need it signed. They treat me like I am hearing them even when I am sitting there signing "can't hear you". Its a complete joke, so I just sit there and do nothing, looking like an idiot. In addition, this is probably another reeason why the instructor thinks I am not paying attention, because at times I just sit there looking like an idiot, like I am not even attentive or willing to participate.

My thinking is, if I have to go through this kind of crap to learn asl and to cope with a disability I'd just rather not bother with asl or asl classes anymore.

That was not fair of the instructor to think you were not paying attention. I agree with you about your last comment. If I had to go through that I would not want to bother with asl or classes either!
