Who would get Wii?

I'll get the Wii once it gets a price cut and that I can afford it..
Well, guess what... I hear they will do a price cut.

What they might do is sell the Wii without Wii Sports for $200. They also may do that with colored editions like red, green, blue, black, etc.

I hear it might happen later this Spring or Summer.

If you wait long enough, you might be able to get a color you prefer. ;)

Manhunt 2 on Wii. That is going to sell a lot of Wii's, trust me. If anyone played Manhunt 1 on PS2 or XBOX, they will remeber the bat decapication move... That is a NATURAL for the Wiimote!! Heh Heh.

Get me a blue one? ;) :giggle:

If you're nice to me... ;)

I just checked...

There's no blue at the moment. Here's what I've seen so far...

RED, WHITE (original), GREEN, GREY (silver?), BLACK

I wouldn't mind the silver or black one. :)

Yes, $200.

Like I said before, the current Wii includes Wii Sports for $250.

The colored versions will not include Wii Sports and costs $200.

With Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 being upgraded, we won't be expecting a preice drop anytime soon... probably not this year. Most likely 2008. When I say "price drop" in this case, it's where the price drops to $100 or $150.

Yeah I wouldn't expect a price drop for the Wii til end of this year for Christmas or til next year.

I've still got a bunch of unplayed games in my collection. So, I've got plenty of time to play them... before getting the next generation consoles.

Right now, the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 are having problems... overheating, blu-ray errors, freezing, etc.

I bought the Playstation 2 at release... but waited for the Gamecube and the Xbox. I'm glad I waited because I got the Halo Edition and Platinum Edition. :)

That's why I'm waiting for the Wii... perhaps, a Zelda or a Super Mario edition? That would be nice. ;)

80% Disagree...

PS3 has never to got issue with BD error, overheating or freezing, just nothing but only issue with BC and already fixed it via update. Xbox 360 is used to had overheating issue but not anymore then time for buy new game console.

No, Sony is planning to price the cut for PS3 soon.

MS don't have plan to cut the price for Xbox 360 right now, also got news about MS approved on rumors about price drop but they are false.

If Sony decide to cut much as $100 before hit 2008. They will still lose lot of money.

Fact, I still see plenty PS3 and PSP in stock almost every retails store. While Wii never seen in shelf and too few DS left in there.

I don't need Wii yet... maybe this holiday season.

The Wii is the hardest next-gen system to find. I saw a few PS3's in a Target last night in Oregon. Wii nowhere to be found, and I have read a few forums where people have a hard time finding a Wii, and even store employees of video game retailers admit that there aren't enough Wiis. Maybe Nintendo is racking up production with the new colors and people will be able to get one for themselves..

Wii Sports $50? Is it that deep? I know people go nuts for playing stuff like Wii bowling, etc, but it's not really a game, it's more a demo of what the Wii can do..

Right, a technical demo at its best. You can tell by the fact that the graphics aren't really that impressive. It's GCN graphics at its best, but the game alone makes it worth to kleep coming back to. If you want a full blown game, try Warioware: Smooth Moves. RIT had a Wii and Warioware on hand for me to try out. It's a lot of fun.

What will the price cut be?

Some people think the new black Elite 360 will bring price drops to the Premimum and Core, but I doubt it. I don't expect price drops much until next fall/christmas season. Sony recently dropped the price of the PSP, so that may be a omen.

So what? Sony got more profit from other electronic than PS3 does, also BD drive is getting more cheaper soon as price cut will goes on PS3, though.

don't you one who brought PSP the reason it got cool graphic and movie. now, you return because of lack game? lol

PS3 may be in same fate after you decide to buy it for triple-pretty graphic and Blu-ray. haha. okay, whatever it make you satisfactory. I just blurst out my head. :)

For PSP, I had been for an year before sold out but will buy again in later.

I'm not satisfy with PS3 right now, around 50% less feature than Xbox 360 but graphic on PS3 is same as Xbox 360, also some games on PS3 have more features than Xbox 360 because of BD. Like RR6 on Xbox 360 is only for racing but RR7 on PS3 is racing and aracde in combined.

RR- Ridge Racer
