VodkaBoulevard,
Of course, I do understand matter or your sitaution but people have fear w/Pit bull dogs that their good reason. So um, Your pitbull dogs prefer finds their own territory property. Do you allow your pitbull can dare use neighbor's property and poured their own territory's property spot!? Y or N ?
As long you can respect your neighbor property. That would be feel fair for everyone comfortable with your dog. similar alike other people who not feel comfortable when near your pitbull dog. You'll say don't be afraid..! My dogs are great and cute! Never never never say that, be try remember whoever have fear the large dog or pitbull dog their traumatized memory!
Hope it helps you understand?
My neighbor(S) loves my dogs to death - there's 8 houses in this row every neighbor have dogs (various) kinds my next door have two wolfs, we often get together during the morning and night so does the dogs. BTW, nextdoor is a police officer, and the next two neighbor is doctor at UCI.
My pitbulls roaming around, they give a chance to get know the dogs more. Do not interpret pitbulls in the wrong ways, because there have bad raps about it.
See how hearing people interpret deaf people? (for ex. hearng person walk and saw deaf person comes with "CP" and all of suddenly the hearing person SAYS every deaf people are HANDICAPPED) hearing person interpret deaf person in WRONG WAY.
Same idea goes with the dogs.
Your point is not valid. I love the dogs from the size xs to grande large dogs. Despite any kind of breeds.
If you keep the dogs seperate from the others - they will gain aggressive and of course they will attack with no doubts.
I have approach with varies breed of the dogs, some dogs from the street, some dogs from the public park, s ome dogs from whereever you name it. I always WALK Up to the dog, and try to get his/her attention, take her in my vehicle with leash/collar (there's only leash/collar) available in my vehicle. FIrst thing what I'd do - walk around the community to find out if this dog belongs to anyone, if none - I'd keep the dog in my house for a week, and post the missing ads, and let the animals control be aware about this.
nothing happens, then i'd cotnact the outreach animals community to find a new home for the dog.
little history - NO one in my family likes pitbulls in the past, they were VERY afraid of them just because of the "MEDIA" and the "STORIES" I've adopted two 8 weeks old pitbulls and brought them to home - my family gives pitbull A CHANCE - however, they FALL IN LOVE with the pitbulls, same thing goes with my neighbors, They were worried how the pitbulls will react -however, they gave the times to get to know the pitbulls - they LOVE 'em to death and even asked me if I'd breed the two girl pitbulls. I'm like nah. There's plenty of homeless animals out there that need home.
if you'd understand my position if you see a drunk mother wanderng in the community, and there's a little girl who constantly crying is the daughter of drunk mother - will you stand there, and yellin what to do? or you'd walk up and try to solve the situation.
BullyMother - as you states - Never never never say that, be try remember whoever have fear the large dog or pitbull dog their traumatized memory!
My question - Why would the individual let the
media brainwashes the individual about the pitbulls? the individual have NO experience with pitbulls, I don' tsee any why to be very afraid of the pitbulls just because of media?
btw, I read the other thread about that you have bulldogs.
Honest - In the past, I've always think the bulldogs are ugly dogs ever, not just bulldogs but include (pug), yorkshine terriers, n etc. I told my friends about it, one person were pissed, and told me that I need to open up my mind more about this. Why?
differend breed of dogs may be different, just remember that they're dogs - they earn the same rights. despite the type of breeds.
same thing goes with people's nationally. - black people, ew - or whatever, nah it's so WRONG. Black, asian, or whatever - they're human beings - treat 'em the equally despite of their skin colors.
