I am wondering the exact same thing, but apparently, the GC and PS2 do have a reciever, or the poster has wireless controller reciever in the system, enabling it to recieve commands from the Logitech Harmony remote.. here's what the poster said and this poster is reliable.
(note that this quote is from Animenation.com which I linked to in my first post)

Uh, I have a Harmony remote and it was worth every penny. Nevermind updating with every new device on the market within days, Logitech allows you to self program it too. So I was able to mod me GC and PS2 to turn on and off through it. Total control from one device.

I have two MS 360 remote for all in one.. those remote are so great for tv, dvd, etc.. logitech remote for 360. go for it!.. if you got one, let us know how do you feeling with new toy for 360 someday.. smile

Good Luck

I know, WTF! But it seems like a really good remote. Although I have come to the conclusion while discussing this very topic with a friend over aim that I will not buy this $130 remote for the XBOX 360, and rather buy a simple $30 one to be used with the 360. I am more than certain that Logitech will develop something similar or better for the PS3, and Blu-Ray discs will have the best quality. So I will wait on a universal remote until then.
