Haynesworth SUSPENDED FIVE GAME for stomping on player's face

5 games suspened isnt bad... If he continues act like this one then he should be suspension one year... Remmy he isnt act like as Ron Artest who should be ban from NBA, but he seems improve so far after he suspened one year from NBA after big serious brawl between Pacers and Pistons at The Palace of Auburn Hill...

Myself, I don't think this sort of crap should be tolerated at all. In fact, they should send these kind of idiots to the slammer for deliberately causing physical harm/damage to their opponents. Last time I checked, stomping on somebody's head could send somebody to jail for physical assault.

Just because it happened in a football game doesn't mean the cops should do nothing about it. It's quite sick that people are getting away with just suspensions.

Not just him, there are so many idiotic nfl/nba/nhl/mlb/nascar/ufc/wwf/tennis/and ALL american sports players out there, one day they will show you their best "idiot of the year" performance.
Don't be :jaw:, and get prepared for that!

Last time the idiot of the year award was Zinedine Zidane.

Albert Haynesworth was just another idiot player after Todd Bertuzzi , Ron Artest , Mike Tyson , Zinedine Zidane , and more players.

We should be expect to see/hear about idiot action by player in any games in the future. Only we would be shock if player really kill other player during the game.

Any players may feel lucky to be suspended...but their living may not same.

No shit, he's must stuck at mental hospital in Colorado.

Yep, I couldn't agree more. A superb point!

Stars and the likes always get by, don't they? Shame!

He got 5 games suspened plus fined 190k which is alot, so am sure once he back to NFL and Jeff Fisher (head coach for Titans) will inactive him for rest of season like Andy Reid did to Terrell Owens last year...

I certainly hope so because if Haynesworth do comes back to play rest of this football. Watch out for chop blocks from O-Linemen. Do not surprise if he suddenly being injure prone.

I think he should be banned from NFL because he attacked defenseless person with shoes with cleats for God's sake! Cleats are sharp point and it can be consider as a weapon. Imagine if he stomp on NFL s promient players such like Manning, McNabb, Big Ben, or Shaun Alexander. It would get downright ugly.

And NFL need to stop babying players. They are grown up adults and have responsbility for god s sake!

HOPE SO. Give him hard learn lesson. I would not surprise that Jeff give him become inactive.

You know, I wish they could arrest him for assault. It wasnt fairl for all of us that we had to get arrest except the pro players. Ive noticed that most pro players didnt get arrest. All they got is suspend and pay fine then other player can sue or file against this player. that was it!! Its so damn cheap. They should be arrest for assault.

thats my opinion.

Yea, I did watch SportsCenter last Monday or Tuesday, during Fisher's press conference abt Haynesworth's incident and he looks not happy, so am sure after his 5 games suspened, Fisher will suspension him more games or inactive till next year...

Remind me happen between Bears vs Packers game. I forget name guy play for Packers team defensive tackle pick Bears QB Jim Mahonan(SP) up and slam on the ground. Jim got injury his neck and shoulder. Defensive tackle got suspened games and fined $$$$. Till end of season Packers head coach release him after that no body any NFL team pick him up. I bet Jeff do same thing happen to Packers head coach.

X2 I may not be a sports fan anymore but I sure as hell agree that this is WAY out of line. The guy shouldn't be allowed special treatment. Sometimes I think certian players try to break specific players body parts to take them out of the game because they're quite good players and pose a big threat to the opposing team and they probably wouldn't have a chance of winning without playing dirty. For an instance- Joe montana. Isn't it kinda odd that his ARM, which while he was one of the best passing QB's of his time gets smashed? I doubt it's coincidence... Correct me if I'm wrong. I think that guy should be banned.

Hilarious, they treat drug abuse in sports with zero tolerance, but when it comes to trying to purosefully cause physical harm to someone they just bench him for 5 games? Bah. :pissed:
