Grrr downstair call my landlord

Grrr I am not happy with downstair that they call our landlord that I make noise from hopping hopping and bang bang on them .. *SIGHS*

My mom already explianed to the lady dont bother when I am hopping and she told her ok no plm but complianed and call our landlord that I make a noise oh man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the music loud as I can feel so I let them know bang bang please turn it down but they call our landlord it gotta me mad and disppointed now. All I have to be quiet and cant wait move out soon dont know when.

the landlord told my mom then she told me that the lady is nice but I went knew it look like strict lady I dont like it.
 
I got the same problem with my neighbor downstairs. We both are guys and we got in a very bloody fight one Saturday night. I thought this is crazy, man because I can't wait to move out of apt. then rent a real house ( not mortage , no way but a real house for rent with ulitiles already included ) and then no one lives upstairs or below me. It is crazy and next door there used to be a young kid who had loud music and smoked pot all the time. I could not stand him because of my dog who is supposed to be a hearing guide dog when I had my dog from before and I got in a fistfight with him. Now it is much calmer because there is a new person a woman who lives there with her kids but the guy from downstairs is another story so it is better for Deaf people to rent a house or own a house or build a house from the ground up. I personally prefer to build a house from the ground up then no mortage to worry about. It is all paid for and is mine and nobody can complain and start fights with me. My mom thinks the guy downstairs is a great guy but I know better !!!!!! He comes home most nights drunk and always complaining and trying to be abusive to anybody he comes over and I told him not to f*ck around with me or I will put him in the hospital. He looks at me with those eyes, angry face slurred speech and drunk. He does not know nor understand I can really mess him up really bad then he will wish he never messed with me to even begin with.

DeafMonkey, My best advice is to do a search on the internet for " houses for rent " or talk to the realtor and ask around & see what is available and make sure you live in a very safe part of town too please ? Too many Deaf people live in high crime areas. That gotta change. You have to have a stragetry and a plan, a job etc I know it takes time, money and patience but once you have a house that you rent. You will never ever want to rent apartments ever again. Many Deaf people are much happier once they rent a house. Remember make sure the ulitilies are included with the house rent too. :) :thumb:

You have the right and power to complain about their music, The neighbors downstairs create a disturbance by turning the music up too loud. I don't know your laws in Canada but is there a law on loud noises cause by a neighbor that police could handle the complaint?

I wouldn't go to the landlord if I were you, Landlords don't do much, but police do.
 
I know the feelings DeafMonkey, been there before hon...:hug:

I always believe that it is the landlord's job to keep the peace not only between the tenants living in your apartment, but between the neighbors as well too otherwise, tenants will start moving out, and neighbors will start complaining ..also the landlord will lose money if this keeps up ..What I would do if I were you, is to complain to the landlord to have her to turn the music down cause you have the right to have a peaceful enjoyment of living in your own home without any disturbing from others cause they would not like it if this had happened to them, so out of respect, she should turn the music down to keep the peace between the two of you afterall, you both will still be neighbors until one of you move out...I'm curious to ask you DeafMonkey, if there's anything on the lease that tells you about when music needs to be turn off or down, sometimes landlords put that on the lease to let his tenants know that they need to have the music off by 9 or 10pm...

but you can try calling the police if she still refuse to turn the music down...
 
^Angel^= they quiet after 11pm but sometime yeah I can feel them after 11 pm .

Cheri= yeah I agreed and I did..and just after 11pm must be quiet but more I wasnt sure of it about canada law :)

the lady and the landord are friends know well that the landlord's brother in law's friends too .. it is hard for that it pissed me off


My mom is coming and take me out to have fresh air and ice cream yummy lol :lol: .. I am sure we are gonna figure it out about downstair .. geez!! they are just moved last Sept 2nd.

Talk to your mom about Houses for Rent. This is very popular with many Deaf people and really helps alots.

That's firgures, I don't care if they're his kids, his parents or his sister etc, they should respect other tenants and if they want to hear loud music, tell them to go to a rock and roll concert then...;)

Don't keep pushing her, You already stated that once. I'm most certain Monkeyhead knows what she is doing and her plans are for moving. ;)

I never pushed her about anything. I am trying to help her have peace of mind for herself. She can think for herself. :thumb:

well she should not complain cuz of u cant help it since ur ankle and do hop.. landlord should see ur ankle then she know better!

Yeah the landlord called at my mom's home then later my mom called me on the msn and she said

My mom says: you are not going to believe this one!!!!!!!!!! then I was what ? till talk about landlord and I was said myself oh fuck! grrrr lol now it is quiet :) my mom already talked to landlord. I told her I hope so not kicked me out and my mom said dont worry she already talk to the landlord already. :)

Yeah the people upstairs can be loud also. But I don't say nothing because I have 2 kids & we can be just as loud so I let it go. we've been here almost 4 years & theres been damn 5 different groups up people upstairs & my cousin one time & he was the loudest of them all..LoL But oh well I deal with it we all getting a house soon. They don't give me trouble I don't give them trouble:)
 
Yes you are pushing her! You forgot she lives in another country which involves different laws and system. So hush up, will ya?

Ohh, thats sux... Not only u, also my neighbors always complaining abt my old roommates always blast music late night... Now I have all new roommates and they are all quiet!
