I haven't heard of this on TV about California being split into 6 states .
I know it not going happen .

I was living in Ca. when Prop 13 was voted on. I owned a house and voted for it . I realize the affect it would have on library , school etc. I knew other people that voted for it too but they had no idea how it was going affect the library , schools etc. They were upset and shocked. I thought this would been gotten rid of by .

He's still alive and as far as I know has not been in jail since.

20 pages of google and most are focused on the Trump deal... but there are articles out there of celebs who were strongly against Obama but no comments on if they were planning on moving.

Alabama has lowest property tax in the nation so $250,000 house will going cost $700 per year in our county, but property tax is much higher if you live in affluent cities with city school district, it means $2,000 to $4,000 for $250,000 house.

In Alabama, public schools are great in affluent cities but often mediocre to poor in cities and all counties.

If I was CA voter, I will definitely keep Prop 13 because I don't like to pay large property tax, also cap on sale tax rate.

The history of Texas is actually of going the other way. The revolution that separated Texas from Mexico ended in 1836 and they were a Republic from 1836-1845 when they joined the US as a state. (I checked dates with Google.)

So . . . leaving now would be going backwards.

So? They've been talking about succeeding for years.
 
My fear of California leaving the union and its millions of support funds is all the freeloaders will move north into Oregon. Awful! We already have too many freeloaders. :(

One proposed secession includes Oregon with Washington and California--the entire West Coast would become one new country.

I also just saw a pic/meme? of possibly annexing WA, OR and CA with Canada. Not sure how I feel about that one... I'd need a passport to go visit my friends in WA and CA.
