What are you thinking about? Part VIII

We are at about 40 right now so that's definitely bearable. I think I may experience harsher conditions coming right off a big lake (no, not Lake Superior I'm still south of that) so we get a harsh windchill effect sometimes.

Right now it's ab out 28 and my husband worked from home today. We had rain/sleet this morning which eventually turned to snow. I had the little space heater on in the kitchen earlier.

My folks and I were up North in Hayward on various occasions - we have a pic of my mom standing in the mouth of that large fish display at the Muskie Museum in Hayward.

I'm exhausted from long walk to and from food store. My car battery died again. My car is pain in the butt.

Sucks about your car battery, SilverRoxy! When <do you think?> you'll be able to get a new one

I got a new battery two weeks ago. Two weeks ago was my second time getting new battery. First battery replacement was two month ago. I guess something is draining out the battery.

Maybe your alternator isn't generating power and your car is running off the battery instead?

Did you try having a shop re-charge the battery before replacing it? One thing that I have done that pulled a battery down was close a door on a seat belt and the dome light stayed on while the car was parked and not driven for several days. Has the alternator been checked? It might not be charging the battery while you are driving.

Mechanic said the alternator is okay. The battery was no good. He couldn't re-charge the battery. I am going to have him figure out what is draining the battery. I wish I never bought this car.

Machines are replacing bank tellers, I went to the bank had to stand in long line with one human being working the window.

I am not sure, is it that people don't want to work anymore or just technology taking over.

I saw a lady wearing onesie pajamas lol

I would say most people use ATMs and the web, so there's not a need for as many tellers as there used to be.

Yes , that's true. There was still a mile long line, don't think the ATM can help myself and others in line with me. They needed one more person to help the one working alone.

Technology is taking over and I personally don't like it , specially when trying to made phone . The robotic voice doesn't always understand my speech and
it end up taking 3 times longer to get anywhere!

Where did you see a lady wear onesie? At the bank? Weird! Is it a footed onesie?

Yesterday was the day I had to give the deposition for the car accident I was involved in July 2014. There were three lawyers there representing the different drivers involved. I am just a witness in this case as I was not considered to be at fault in any way. It was interesting and I feel I did a good job. Hopefully, this won't go to court and the party at fault insurance will finally pay what they owe. Crazy that this is being drug out so long.
