Best places to eat out for thanksgiving?

I say the Golden Corral.

Yep....we've gone there in previous years....very busy tho'...long lines.
 
I would prefer a restaurant close to drag strips in case I get bored. I would just walk over to drag strip and feel power of turbo.
 
All the Golden Corral here closed, bit we have lots of other buffets.

A Chinese buffet would be fun.

I know that many buffets serve wonderful Thanksgiving dinners. My only problem with eating out for that day is that then there are no leftovers at home for later. :giggle:
 
Casino! Went there last year and man! Nothing beats their feast! Its all you can eat buffet.

Which is why my sister picked a non-buffet restaurant for our Thanksgiving dinner...so she can take leftovers home with her. :lol:
 
I had a cousin that used Schnuck's Supermarket (a regional chain in the general St. Louis area) for quite a number of years. They said they really liked it and did keep getting it for a number of years.

Schnuck's current ad says "Let Us Cook" Heat & serve. $39.99 serves 8-10 9-11 lb. baked turkey, 32 oz. bread stuffing or cornbread dressing, 16 oz. cranberry relish and 12 brown & serve rolls.

They also say Build Your Own Feast.
$5.49 Holiday Sides: 32 oz pkg. - Choose from bread stuffing, Southern style cornbread dressing or green bean, sweet potato or broccoli rice & cheese casserole.
$3.69 lb Whole 9-11 lb. Cooked Turkey
$4.99 Cranberry Relish 16 oz. pkg.

Hey it is a compromise between all of the work to DIY at home and the impersonal nature of going to a restaurant.

I go to schnucks and get a big Salmon filet and let them season and cook it free...you choose the seasoning and they throw it in the cooker and done in 15 minutes.

A b/f and I use to go all you can eat buffet and buy one meal , my b/f would get a plate of meat and one of veggies and I would eat all the veggies I could and he ate all the meat. He would made about 3 trips , the owner was not happy about it but said nothing. I never done that before fall asleep in my food. LOL! The best place to eat out would be at some family or friend house.
