the homeless man look speechless when he get the money . I gave a homeless man my umbrella when he was sitting out in the pouring rain . He was surprise that stopped my car and got out to give him the umbrella .

After I was terminated from my career due to an on the job accident, I was pissed. I took every piece of city issued clothes I had ( heavy coats, Jackets, coveralls, wool socks, long sleeve shirts, thermo underwear...ect...) and went out in the freezing cold ( December a week before christmas when I was terminated) and gave it out to the homeless in the downtown area...hahaha, bet the city loved seeing all the homeless people wearing city issued clothing...lol
Even had one guy and his family crying. I went with my sister who did this regulary, so I just decided to get rid of all the clutter ( this was all brand new still in packages ) I made a good deed out of a bad situation.

I once aw an old Black lady picking through a crash can for food and I asked her if she would like me to get her some food , the woman said yes and told where she lived . I showed up at her house next with a bag of food , there a as dozen fresh laid eggs fresh picked veggies and some cheese . The lady asked if I was a Native American and I said 'no ' then wanted to know if I was Spanish . The lady could not believe that a White woman took the time to help her .

When I still worked for the city, there were a lot of homeless some were true others were just bums who didnt want to do anything but get free handouts ( you can tell by the way they act) Almost every time we stopped to fuel up we had "Bums" come up asking for spare change all the time. Once my partner and I encountered a low life scum "bum" saying he was hungry and havent eaten in days and wanted $5 ( bold asking for amounts) so my partner and I just got paid, we told him...
Come inside and get you a sandwich, drink, snack and we will pay for it.
Would you believe this.... He flat out refused. Flat out said to us, I aint going to get a sandwich, ect...ect... I want the cash!
My partner got right in his face and told him to GTFO !!!! He wasnt buying him beer or drugs or any of that stuff... if he is hungry go get something or leave before we call the cops. That guy didnt stick around much longer.

Another time We were fueling and my old neighbor ( a postal carrier) was there (she has been there awhile before we showed up) there was another bum going around vehicle to vehicle asking for spare change. Well apparently she already gave this bum $2, as they said they needed buss fare to get to a doctor or something? Well, she observed this and ran outside yelling to everyone " Dont give that *explective* another penny" then she continued with " It doesnt cost no $50 to ride a GD bus from here to there and back, now leave or Ill have you arrested!"
we understand there are those in need, but to lie and get all you can is wrong, just be honest, youre poor, broke, homeless. but drugs...we are not supporting your habit.

One lady used to stand off the highway, with a sign saying she couldnt feed her kids. Someone called and she was arrested. Turned out she had a night job and made "very good money" but she did lose her kids over it to her ex.

Another bum doing the same claimed to be an ex vet...walking all goofy and crap. I used to drop extra change in his bucket until I seen him in the county just as fine as he could be. I confronted him and told him that the next time I see him panhandling Ill have him arrested ( Ive already took pics and video of him walking just fine with no issues) never seen him again.

I hate that most are able bodied, but because they dont want responsibilities and chose to be homeless but the ones who are truely homeless due to physical or mental states I feel sorry for.

I saw a homeless guy holding a sign say he was hungry so I went to a sub shop to buy him sub and I said I just want a sub thrown together so I could give it the homeless. The owner of the sub shop told me that he made a sub for the homeless guy and he threw it in the trash can! The homeless guy wanted the $$$ to buy booze or some more smokes .
There was woman holding a sign that said she that became homeless recently so I thought that was why her clothes where still where clean and package was clean too. I saw the same woman about a week later with my daughter and we both where surprise how neat and clean she looked after being homeless for 3 weeks or more. My daughter and wonder if she was really homeless or just coning people out their money.

I hate to say that but it seemed staged to me. Where did this happen? It appears to be Germany. (I didn't know they had homeless people in Germany.) Who filmed it? Why were each of the three participants wearing similar hats, and two of them happened to come by with instruments? (The kids in the crowd also wore straw hats, and the trio had a bag of hats at the end.) It reminds me of those flash mobs that sing and dance, except this was on a smaller, more intimate scale.

It's a nice message though. )

The students could be street performers , it's not that unusual for people to carry their guitars with them. I knew a guy that was street performers and he carried his small drums with him so he if saw people preforming he could join them . I looked the story up and it saw nothing that said it was fake .

It wouldnt change how someone thought about homeless, it would just bring attention to "if they are fake or not" Just make sure they are really homeless, you can tell by the way they smell...and you dont have to be close either.

I know this but a lot people will walk pass a homeless person in my city as if they're not there this could keep people that do try to help second thought
not all homeless men smell bad. I had talked to few of them. They can get a shower at the Goodwill office and free clothes . There are some that live the same clothes forever and never take a shower .
There was a homeless woman that used the city pubic bathroom to wash up . I saw her in the woman bathroom washing up at the sink , there is only sink to use . I poured some of my bottled water on my hands as I did not feel waiting for the woman to finish her sponge bath , and wash her hair . It was sad to see a woman being homeless , she was young too and trying her best to stay clean
