My son is afraid of the slender man when he saw the picture. He showed me last year. I was like, huh. I have seen the pictures before but i didnt realize that it was very popular for young kids to talk about it. It scares me.
 
This is pretty evil. It's just stunning when people you think are your friends turn on you. Sadly, people with disabilities are usually more often the victims in these cases.

Why in the world would the Creepywiki for the horror let the very young children watch this website for the Slender Man? This is no way to do that to the very young kids. The kids did not know the difference between right or wrong. I agree with Whatdidyousay! that this Slender Man is a very twisted man to do that to the children.

I guess with both on televisions and Websites plus maybe radios offer lot of violences for the audience to be brainwash into the violence world. No wonder they want guns which is not the safest way to carry guns around in public letting the society that it is okay to kill or hurt someone. I am really sick about all this. This got to be scary on having them hear and thought that is the real world which it is not the real world at all. Dang! :(

It's not a real person. It's a made up fictional person the children were trying to impress. The site is for fictional writers, although the content gets moved around the internet often.

However, at the heart of it, the children were only pretending to be friends with the girl they were planning to kill, simple as that.

People are trying to blame this on a fictional character, but, IMO, the parents are to blame for not instilling, after 12 years, the worth of another person's life to their child. This isn't an internet issue. And, there is no way, this is the only warning sign these parents got, not by a long shot.

HELLO! I know it's NOT a real person, I said that person who came up with the idea had to be a sick twisted person. I saw this on the new tonight and it's frighten to see what kids are capable of doing today.
 
I do not dare to judge any of kids' parents at all. I wonder as to why the 12 yrs old kids who are interested in hurting others.

Yes, there where gangs of kids that fought against one another before there was computer . That is how Boy Town got started , to keep boys off the streets and from fighting all the time.
 
The guy who created Slender Man is only sick and twisted if you think that people like Stephen King are sick and twisted.

I really felt that these kids should be tried as children. Being tried as adults isn't going to help them in any way. However, they were arrested and charged as adults so chances that they will be tried as adults are high.
