that reminds me, though - does anyone watch Steven and Chris, the Canadian TV talk show?

they have this drink segment from time to time with their "cocktail deeva Dee Brun", and lately she came up with beer infused with fried bacon strip!

this is NOT the original Deeva bacon drink, as she had a mug of dark beer and VERY crispy bacon,
but that will give you the idea of what to expect:

Chris was very happy with the concoction calling it "perfect for breakfast" :D

I had chocolate covered bacon at the state fair a couple years ago. Not as horrible as it sounds. Not something I would buy again, but would eat it if offered to me.

When in Philly I tried mac & cheese pancakes which sounded pretty bad, but was delicious. When returning a year later, I went to the place to have it again.

Hm.. wonder where in Philly? That's something that I'd try at least once (the mac n cheese pancake...keep the bacon away from me please ;)). One of these days I want to get back up to Philly. Grew up not far from there and lived near Philly (suburb) as an adult
 
I really want bacon right now.... :shock: Just not with chocolate... or beer... Like, bacon and eggs... with toast... :D
 
MMs with bacon?!? EWWWW. I refused to eat bacon for the rest of my remaining life.
