Schizoeffective is when they have similar symptoms to schizophrenia but can be in a sense "cured" right? Or do i have it wrong?
No, schizoaffective is when they have all the signs of schizophrenia but have a mood disorder as well such as bipolar disorder or something. They USUALLY don't have full blown schizophrenia but exhibit signs of schizophrenia.
I misspelled it above, it's schizoAffective... that makes me sad...
Stupid rapid typing...
No disorder such as bipolar, schizophrenia, schizoaffective or anything like these can be cured... ever. We take Topamax and sh*t for life to maintain them.
Usually 2+ meds depending on what you have and how severe...
They're always coming out with new stuff. Hell, maybe one day they'll be able to cure it... however right now as it stands we have no clue what exactly causes it... so it's kind of hard to cure something when they can't pin point exactly what causes it.
