I was talking to one woman on video phone. I told her that she should teach her cat to clap. She told me that I am on my own for this. Well, I visited her. I tried to teach her cat to clap. Her cat bit me. The woman was laughing. She said "haha, I told you". I felt hurt. Why was she siding with the cat and not me?? It doesn't seem like the cat cared that she bit me. The friend was laughing at me. I wish I had someone in my corner on that one. Is that possible?

Cats are ill tempered beasts. Ferrets are much nicer. So I advise get a new friend with a ferret. Then try teaching the ferret. If the ferret bites you, it will be in good humor and you can both have a good laugh.

She's obviously a cat person, not a Derek person. What can I say?

Maybe she was laughing at the cat's expression after it sampled you. You probably taste awful to cats.

What where you doing to cat when it bit you? If where you trying to made it clap by moving it paws around I can see why the cat bit you.
Most animals hate having their legs touch . I was combing my dog today and when I got to his front paws I thought Marty was going to report me for animal abuse!

Derek I'm sorry the cat bit you, hope you won't have an issue with the bite!

Ferrets are fun:)

Domestic rat could find it much more handy to learn how to clap.
they enjoy many games and have little human-like hands.

Im sorry. I have to admit that cats can be sneaky sometimes. Curious, what breed of cat who bit you?

Sometimes cats can sure be sneaky. I think it's because they are still great hunters and less domesticated than dogs.

I like kitties but their bites present a problem with small punctures that close quickly but trap infection.

My kitties do bit my hand when they gave a warning to me and i ignore them. :P
