yes lots old BMXs in the early 80's were the best...
in NZ, I had a Panta Mk2, it had mags wheels (bit heavy, made out of aluminium alloy) it was the bike I learnt to do wheelies on, did whole streets on the back wheels, it black and gold, oh i loved that bike. Yours is in amazing good condition, untouched, id keep it if i were you..just oil that chain to keep it from rusting. because chains and sprockets are hard to get for this size (thickness and width), they were tough as nails, I really dislike new MTB with too many silly gears the sprockets too blimin' paper thin is yuck and unmachine-like. <just my figure of words, made up hope you know what i mean, as similar to how some people thinks old cars are more real than new plastic craps
the frames in early 80s were skinny, some were made so well, and many weren't...due to 'its earliy evolution to BMX frame design) it is stretch too long and lacks the gusset (metal plates welded around the head of the frame (where the gooseneck and fork goes in) at this spot is where too much stress is place and hence tends to crack the frame (i cracked mine frame snapped in half WHILE i was riding!!)
best ones had 2, so and so ones had a one plate...what about mongoose (they were good, then Redline then Kurahawa, PK Ripper (the best, it elite)...
