My spring is over and back to work in the morning. Waking up early is the hardest part.

Getting ready for real work_ BEAT that clock! Seems "old age" doesn't like swimming.

two week ago, I came to the salon. They mistakely charged me twice then i came and asked them to fix it. they did fix it all is good. then again last night they charged me again at the same issue. it's their credit comapny. i called them this am about it. So she fixed it again and told me that i ll get the gift that cost 15 bucks.


I still wait till my bank statement to clear up the double price. Now i feeeeeeeeel awkward for going back to salon to get the gift for their messed up. I am not the type of person who wants wants wants.. well i lied a little i do want want want but for the salon. She just set up a new business last summer after she left the other saloon that i go there for 12 yrs until she and her gangs left the orginal salon and she set up her OWN salon. I like her and her gangs so i went to her salon.

is it normal that i feel awkward? :hmm:

My husband is the same way. He won't accept anything if a business messes up and tries to make amends.

Sometimes I think it would be better to just take it and not look rude by turning it down.

Yeah. i think they are afraid of losing me as their best customer. i ve been going to them for 12 yrs until the lady who left the salon and she set up her own business as salon and the workers joined with her to the new salon. I went to their salon instead of the old salon. So she can run her own way. She wants to make her salon look good . I ll feel weird. I do not know when i ll come to salon soon. LOL maybe next week. they say they will put my gift certificate under her desk. oh boy!

how important do you think DPN is? Do you think it is important to the deaf community? or as Anij said, its in the past? do you think deaf people are still experiencing oppression? where were you when dpn happened and what were your thoughts then? Thanks so much!!!=)
 
I have more jobby job news, I told the lady I'll work there all day on Wednesdays. So I'm going to be there 2 days a week, wednesday and saturday :D But I'm not going to start this saturday :( My boss at my other job had a conniption fit and is insisting that I give her 2 weeks notice. pfffft I don't see what the big deal is, she hired a mess of people most days we have more massage therapists than we have people. I think she might just be mad that I will likely eventually be leaving there completely. I don't think she knows where I'm going, but she might suspect. A few of us, and her better therapists, that worked at Massage Envy have left to work at Wellness One.

I'm so nervous and excited about it!! This is medical massage, no more fluffy relation massages. This is what I got my neuromuscular therapy continuing ed credits for. All the clients that go there are refered my doctors and have a prescription for massage. I will be people's medicine :giggle: It's going to be challenging!! Because I have to give my boss 2 weeks notice I'm going to start there next wednesday on the 24th.
 
Guess I'll call my husband's GI doctor's office & let them know my husband won't be scheduling an office visit per the letter received today. Just glad it wasn't an overdue (waaaay overdue) bill.

I guess I didn't tell them my husband passed away 3-1/2 years ago even though I see the same GI doc for my colonoscopies.
 
My mother actually received a credit card offer in the mail today for my father. Funny things is, he's never lived at this address. This address was never in existence prior to August 2012. He died in a different city in 1991.
 
My husband still gets mail from some places. I just tear them up & put them in my recycle bin.

Mom actually returned it with a note "Moved in a state of ashes being swept out with the tide of the ocean on or about Memorial Day 1991."
 
Returning to work this week, as usual, was positive. It was good to see the kids. :) just the other stuff like paperwork, reports and assessments that need to throw!

Why not tell the business to give it to someone that really needs it?
