Hey, CrazyJiro, people with guns murder and people with sodas/cigarettes don't murder. So yeah, ban fucking assault weapons!

Hey, I'm saving up to buy guns, so feel free to PM me with all whining and I will treat you like little boy.

That's about FEAR!!! Someone gonna say "THE GUN NEED TO BE BANNED" so it is you, of course. :cool2:

Know what this called? T Y R A N N Y!

Tyrannies loves to control whatever they want to control.

Jiro is right about on which is worse cigs, junk food, etc kills much more than guns itself. I have guns and none of them have killed a soul. Yes, I do shoot to relieve my stress and it actually works for me and stress are bad for me so whats the point of not shooting.

That's the truth, CP!

I would not encourage ban on cigs because if we ban cigs there will be flood of black market (Profits will skyrocket for owners of black markets) and they WILL sell to kids as they don't card them so bad idea on banning them.

time to ban cigarette too!

FYI - sodas and cigarettes kill more people in a year than guns do in 10 years combined and yet.... you want to ban guns?

I'm teasing at CP. :cool2:

I think he has sweet dream about assault weapon ban to be renewed and bow at ATF director.

I know, he just works at US post office and they have very strict law about guns, so since he see it as workable solution at work so thought it will work on larger scale. He forgot that everybody that works in post office is likely the ones that has a lot to lose if they bring firearms into work as compared in larger scale where there is so many fugitives of the law and they got nothing to lose and will attempt to get gun one way or other without going though background check in order to stay out of jail where they were supposed to belong to. Its been too easy, and will always stay that way no matter how tighten the control turns out.

And I have been around guns, shooting em in the last 40 years and none of my guns have taken somebody's life away and I'm making sure that it stays that way cause I don't like the idea of taking one's life, and hopefully I don't have to use them to protect myself and my family, but I will if my family and myself life were caught in danger.

Ban cigarettes or sodas will never happen. Ban assault weapons will happen. So what are you wasting your breath for?

There was one small cornor store near my house that had a full showcase of "Bongs"....and kids always stopped there after school...I talked to the owner of the store and made my views loud and clear how I felt about it...and asked him if he would at least move the "showcase" somewhere else, better yet, not to sell them at all!......He just gave me the run-around...so I don't frequent that store anymore....

I've no qualms about adults buying Bongs...it's the kids that should not be seeing these things on a daily basis.

As far as cigarettes...the stores make a killing off of them...don't believe the owners will have to keep them out of view....and notice too...most all these small stores have their outside windows full of Beer Sales....so it's all about Beer, cigarettes and Marijuana papers/Bongs....

i heard of bongs never seen them from what i understand could you put water in them and use clear sinus.
they not allowed to display cigs in our big stores anymore which is good but to ban sweet drinks counter productive people buy two small ones which more expensive so they make more money...people know what good and bad for them all can do is educate people but bit unfair on people who not over weight depriving them of sweet drink

Guns are specifically, constitutionally protected......soda are not.

OK, fine just be a good boy or you will be in jail for a long time.

Hell, no. Our founding fathers never had included assault weapons. They meant single-shot guns at that time. If they were still alive, they would ban them.

First, the guns are constitutionally protected - TX is correct and Second Amendment doesn't mention about assault weapon - CP is correct.

Now, we know about US Supreme Court case - the legislators can't generally ban on firearm, period but assault weapon ban is unclear - we may hear a future court case on assault weapon. Assault weapon ban is just partial ban on specified guns rather than complete ban like Chicago and DC did. CA and NY banned on assault weapon.

Saying about assault weapon ban is constitutional or unconstitutional are opinion, unless US Supreme Court ruling on those issue.

Where does the constitution say "single shot guns?"

BTW, it seems you should study the framers more carefully. There is absolutely no way they would support a gun ban. The thought of that is laughable.

Tha's not what I was saying. I said they would ban assault weapons if they were still alive.
