I have no judgment on her. I find it sad when people ask for advice, then leave when the advice is not to their liking. Maybe the question should have been "How can I improve my self esteem?"

I hope she learns from this thread not to feel sorry for herself for too long, face reality, find out how to do better in interviews and get back into the job search. So many people understand how she feels and that she has to keep trying. GOOD LUCK Ladybug!!!! :)

Mimsy, sorry if you told this already but I am a little slow. Did you decide to stay home one more year? I thought that was the best decision. It all happened too fast.

Yes, no Cornell. I wouldn't be able to handle the move from home at this time without my dog. I'm staying home, but starting an 18 month Veterinary Technician program on 5 Sept. I already have all the animal sciences credits, so I basically only have to do the clinicals/internship. My parents were sooo angry, but they knew I was about to have a nervous breakdown. I'll still be working in animal care, but more like a nurse than a vet. And that's ok with me. I'm so relieved it worked out this way. And who knows, maybe one day when I feel "normal", I'll proceed with veterinary school. Or maybe not. (My parents will kill me if I don't after all the fast tracking through school all my life, but I have a small reprieve while I go for my vet tech license).

Anyway, I'm sorry to hijack your thread, Ladybug.
