I personally do not think it is at all funny. It can easily be accidentally inhaled into the lungs. I do not think this is something AD site should promote in any way!! Just my thought!! Be very careful if you have Asthma!!!

Thinking that I need to take it one day at a time and not look ahead.
 
My 14 month old grandson. Among other things, he's been receiving all his nutrition via a g-tube, tube in his stomach, since before he came home from the NICU, until just about a month ago when he began eating some baby food by mouth.
Today he has a swallow study to determine if the therapists want to work more on him taking more nutrition by mouth and removing the g-tube.
He does well with baby food, but chokes on liquids and thicker textures.

Does your grandson had a g-tube in his throat?
 
I'm thinking about the 27 poor suckers who were stopped on I-95 Saturday early afternoon. Mainly between 11am and 2pm. The FHP was out in massive force and really pulling the speeders. In just a 3 mile stretch all at the same time, 27 vehicles were pulled and the FHP was ready for more with an additional 10 cars or so standing by. It's not like it was an area where the speed drops or anything. It's 60 MPH for a reason and has been that way for at least 10 yers according to people I spoke to. Some people were reported as going as fast as 80 MPH. Sucks to be them.
 
I am thinking about having another cup of coffee before I go to bed tonight. Don't worry it would take MUCH MUCH more caffeine than this to hype up all night.
 
I'm like that too. I can drink coffee all day and have no problem sleeping at night. I do try to stick to decaf anyway, but even regular doesn't bother me. G'night Dixie, happy sleeping! :)

No, the g-tube goes in his stomach.

We still don't know the full results of the tests this morning, but the specialists watching the swallow study told my daughter and her husband that they could see much improvement over his previous tests, so we're really hopeful.
 
Last exam finished, now I just have to wait and see till March if I have to resit any in June. Until then, gonna kick back :)
 
I am thinking that my classmates are going to beat me up, because I am the only person in the class who got above a C on the paper we just turned in.

I got a B-. The other smart people got Ds or Fs. :o( We're really confused... we don't know why she said things were wrong.
 
I am thinking about my parents. If my dad was still alive tomorrow Feb. 1st would be their 57th wedding anniversary. I need a good day so I am able to go visit mom and bring flowers to the cemetery. They set a good example about marriage. Hubby and I celebrate our 25th this year :) and it keeps getting better!!!!!
 
Awwwww... Angle I'm sad for you that you lost your dad, but it's so awesome that they had a great marriage and that you're following in their footsteps.

Oh boy. I hope that he is still ok.

Some healthy young adults died within three months from their stomach surgery from food seed that stuck inside which caused inflammation. Many doctors usually don't talk about it. I think that we have to be aware of what food is "safe" that we eat. I really don't know why. I wonder which seeds that cause it.

Thanks that was very nice. Yes marriage for more than 5-7 years is not that common today unfortunately. Those of us who have a good marriage know you have to work on them. Be there for each other in good times and in bad. The "in sickness and in health" can be a challenge but we are working hard at it.
