"he didn't survive" - I'm referring to John Edwards

I find it bit disturbing that some people here are supporting Cain for Presidency, overlooking his scandal.

You also said Clinton and Arnie in #100

So do I.

As for proof, the next best thing until a proof comes along is to take a lie detector test. And perhaps, then reasonable doubt would be better established (or worsened). No? Cain is willing to take a lie detector test. Bialek? And others?

I guess people are quite used to this tactic coming from Obama's camp - since Axelrod has a proven history of dredging up anything to run opponents through the gutter to sidetrack the real issues.

I think it is eventually going to do Obama in.

From your own link:

New polls showed Cain did take a hit from the harassment controversy. His support from female Republican primary voters fell from 28 percent last month to 15 percent, a CBS poll released yesterday found.

Thirty percent of all GOP primary voters said they were less likely to vote for him, the survey found, but he still led the eight-candidate field with 18 percent.

A separate Marist poll of Republicans and GOP-leaning independents found Cain dropped to third place with 17 percent, behind Mitt Romney’s 23 percent and a surging Newt Gingrich, who had 19 percent.

Also in yesterday’s radio interview, Cain said he was now under extraordinary scrutiny.

My God, man! Do you even read the stuff before you post the link?:laugh2:

Then why doesn't he? One needs only one guess to know the answer to that.

So why isn't Cain taking one?

Did you mean to type "unreasonable doubt"?

It was a bluff so his non-thinking supporters would say, "Look! He offered to take a lie detector test!":laugh2:

I wonder how Cain would react if people actually took him up on the offer.

He has passed the line from overly self confident into delusions of grandeur:

ATLANTA — Republican Herman Cain said God convinced him to enter the race for president, comparing himself to Moses: "’You’ve got the wrong man, Lord. Are you sure?’"
Umm, no. It shows humility. Like Moses, Cain didn't feel worthy of his calling by God. According to him, his natural inclination was not to run for President.

Cain didn't say that God told him he would win.

Yep. He really does need to fake a heart attack until after the elections.

No they don't.
Stop trolling, already.

How is it trolling that I am not contesting facts?

I get it - if I jump on the bandwagon and start lynching Cain, it is not considered trolling

Murky past of Herman Cain accuser Sharon Bialek starts to emerge | Mail Online

Meanwhile, a friend of Ms Bialek, from Chicago, told the New York Post: 'She has a very infectious personality. It’s easy to see how she won [Cain] over. But the reality of her situation is -- she’s a complete gold digger. It’s all about the money.'

It's only news in England .....

why isn't Cain taking one yet? what is he waiting for?

Glad to see God having a sense of humor. :giggle:

Yep. He really does need to fake a heart attack until after the elections.

and then people would question if he was unfit to be President due to his health reason... just like John McCain

You also said Clinton and Arnie in #100

ah. right. They both wouldn't be able to survive Presidency anyway but Arnie is not eligible to run for it anyway.

Clinton couldn't be impeached because it's just not good for America and that's unfortunate. I guess it shows how much people are willing to overlook it depending on Clinton's success such as $0 national debt and I guess people are willing to overlook Cain's scandal too.

Correct. He could probably end up not getting the nomination but still he took that path which in turn helped spread his message. Paths are never what it seems in life and can be a strange one.
