Deaf school news

They got the go for a new property. Construction should start sometimes next year. From what I understand - It will look great.

The people who started RMDS need to start schools in other states too!!!!!

They just completed a $11m renovation of the Deaf school just a few weeks ago on top of several renovations to the buildings on campus.

They currently serve about 550 students from birth to 21 y/o.

They're here to stay.
 
The land RMDS just purchased is a 10 acre plot of land with one of the best views of any schools you can ask for.

Is that all Deaf students? How many students does RMDS serve? Wouldn't it be SO cool if Colarado was a state where mainstreamed kids were the minority? I know that RMDS is growing.....YAY!!!!!
I know there's a state by state clickable map that tells you the state of dhh children's educational placement, but I can't find it right now. Anyone can help me?

CSDB about 80 of that 550 are blind students.

I wish that I could have gone to RMDS... or CSDB... my niece was going to go to RMDS... but my sis opted for a closer school with a decent dhh program.
